Personally I don´t give a sh*t about this kind of people. They´re banned from LR, problem solved for our guests.
Five minutes "work" to check the replay, 5 seconds "fun" to ban them, another 999 days fun without those strange people..IMO, that looks like a good deal.

That´s fine, but what´s with other popular public-servers...? The idea behind is to share some information about those retards. Nothing more, nothing less.

Another well known wrecker left his cave and wrotes his first post. I guess he´s banned from several servers now and he felt the intention to post some ridiculous bullshit about his behaviour. Just check the replays and build up your own opinion...

We discovered some minor problems with the swearfilter:

for example:

Curse=arsch (german word for ass, arse)

Quote :

driver xyz : ... war schön so ganz allein
driver xyz - KICK - Cursing : arsch
driver xyz : KICKED FOR BAD LANGUAGE

"war schön so ganz allein" means "driving alone was nice".

At the moment we bypass this with
Excep=war schön
Excep=war schon

Same problem with Curse=con (french insult)
Players will be kicked vor chatting "connection", "controls", concept" or similiar words.

Would be nice if AIRIO could be a tiny bit more sensitive...


Oh, and thx alot for the new features in 2.3.1.

Update:

- AIRIO 2.3.1 up and running. New features...

- activated !recent for all players

- Center 1: added one more lap to Kyoto and Westhill (minimun race-length should be 10 minutes an all tracks)

- Center 1: added FE1 and reverse to trackcycle (stay cool)

- tweaked some layouts (again)

- tweaked swearfilter

Please check "void pov.mpr" @1:15. Of course I immediately blamed my mate, was pretty loud in TS.

But "grueni pov.mpr" and "el_bitcho pov.mpr" tells the true story: It was me, having some short l...a...g.

And some words about cutting...
Personally we too dislike marshalls or restricted areas. It simply feels "wrong" when your cars was sent to nirvana after cutting or an incident....

I think some tyres and a little "high performance" concrete here and there will perfectly do the job.

The FE2 chikane e.g. ... Of course we can place some tyres or hay bales, like in CTRA... But hey, where´s the thrill going..?

It works!

Tried it with a teammate. Online-ban with nickname or username, offline-ban with username and unban (online or offline) with username worked.
Banlist is there and will be emptied when the ban is lifted. Banned user gets the info message with date, lenght and reason...

Banning works like a charm and its much more quicker than open up connectionlist > search for the name > press ctrl+shift -> rightclick > goto search again because someone joined or left the server, etc...

Looks like AIRIO "translates" the nickname into licensed-name for bans. Because you need the account-name for unbans..

It´s nearly impossible to ban an offline driver now, maybe after watching a replay the other day.
With 2.2.9 you definitely have to use the nicknames.
We have a problem...I´m too lazy to type all this crazy names like "ÁÑ•yournamehere", "«««xyz©»»»" or "[xy]ÀÈ" by myself...! It´s realy uncomfortable now!
