I was banned from redline because I commented the "Bosse-incident" two years ago.
Bosse was banned for a simple race-accident. His "failure" was that he slightly tapped Shoemaker/Evo.
She lost her FOX under braking and was all over the track with no carcontrol. Bosse, tried everything to avoid contact but was was too close to react in time and tapped her very smooth but hard enough to spun her. Immediately she blamed Bosse for lousy driving, of course not knowing all facts and at the end of the story she banned him. This was ridiculous, no sportsmanlike and selfish.
Start at front (first 1/3): do as normal (brake early, get a proper line as soon as possible, stay alert for trouble infront while blocking the guy behind you)
Start in the middle of the drid: don´t brake for t1, sometimes it´s faster (for you) to brake with the car(s) infront, maybe you can push him/them from track so you can get the apex earlier. This will work even better when sliding arround. The more unpredictable the better...
So you posted in the testpatch-section..? I find your lack of intelligence disturbing. Same goes for severall other members/posts after the last cleaning...
Today I´ve checked my stats on myCTRA and found a possible major bug.
Managed a new pb on XFR/AS4 Historic yesterday:
LFSworld shows 2:41.190 (29 Jan 2009, 22:54) ...Replay (lap 6).
For some reason CTRA did not recieve it correctly and shows utterly crap now:
"Aston Historic (Standard) XFR 1:44.42".
The datestamp fits well (+/- 5 minutes), but the pb is simply impossible.
And why it says "Available* ....* A record was set but..."? ...(check pic)
:magnify: When you watch the replay you can see @ ~20:59 Beppo finishing the race and me in the middle sector with an actual laptime of ~1:40,xx.
Three seconds later the server switched from 8 laps down to 6 laps.
Now add some lag (plus a suboptimal server/script/insim/world/whatever ) and there´will be a ridiculous final 1:44,xx CTRA-pb for me on this combo.
Just my thoughts, I could be wrong. At least it sounds logical...
Fire up Tvdirector -> click on Insim V4 -> click on start -> fire up lfs -> type "/insim 32300" (without quotes) -> fire up a replay -> press CTRL & F6
Enjoyed every single lap from start to finish. Well, not every lap. In lap 57 I realised that I have to do an extra stop to refill 1 (one!) % to finish the race. I lost one place and finished 4th.
