ok i am very computer savvy but i need some insight. My last computer i built was a dual core opteron 165 that i had overclocked to 2752mhz, 2gb OCZ, ram Nvidia 7800gt overclocked to gtx speeds, 3 320gb seagate barracuda perp drives in RAID 0. This computer laughed at LFS, well i sold that one and now have a crappy computer, and man does it suk. Its an athlon xp 3000@ 2.0ghz 512mb ram and onboard video. now i am going to throw a cheap agp card in it since it does have a agp slot. I am thinking along the lines of a 7600gs, with the specs i got i think this is the biggest i need to go. what you guys think

well this setup does the time without spinning the wheels all the way down the track. only spins through 1st gear.

Tell me what you guys think of my drag setup, tweak and car setup included, also you must use s2 slickmod for the car setup to be right.
heres a replay of the car doing 7.68sec if the replay will work, i doubt it since tweak was on.

ive been playing since 2003 myself

here's what i think. if people want the tweak so bad then well start coding!!!!

I only use braking drift. if the car is setup right just use the brakes to get the weight shifted to the front of the car and the rear will naturally let loose, also if the setup is right on certain high speed corners just lifting off the throttle will do the trick. I see people feint drifting all the time but they do it "not very realistic" which is ok but its not something that can really be done as easily in real life. I owned a 90 240sx a few years back and the trick to it was to enter a turn faster than you would think the car can go into that turn and brake pretty hard and turn and the rear would come right out pretty easy. Just practice and have fun. you'll wreck alot and some more but b4 its over with you'll be a master.

having owned a 90 240sx hatchback aka 180sx aka RPS13, i love them. you can do so much to them and they are so easy to go slideways in.

that 2nd porsche sounded like a fly or something. How long ago was that vid taken? i bet that cars wrecked by now!

well ive been s1 licensed since 2003 and today i finally got s2. woot! now time to get a g25, hehe. cant wait to get on track with you guys.

the flutter is due to a "low boost" condition. depending on the stiffness of the BOV will change the "sound" of the released air. when the forced air is released on a fairly weak BOV spring then the spring will bounce causing it to flutter. Now if the car had made full boost then it wouldnt flutter

well its hard right now with a 4 week old son and then i work all week to bring home a measley 150 dollars. I went from making 8-900 dollars a week to 150 dollars a week. Really suks. o also i "do" want to spend the money on it but my fiancee would have a fit.

OK i have been a S1 user since i think 2003. As of this point and time right now i cant afford to buy S2, my fiancee and i just had our first kid together and hes 4 weeks old. so she wont let me buy S2 and i dont want to because i want to spend the money elsewhere. So if anyone out there would be willing to help it would be nice but if not then i totally understand.

well i downloaded another carbon texture and it worked perfectly here is a pic, i am going to do some decent graphics on the car and hopefull it will look good.

youll have to make the pic bigger to not see the aliasing. Only thing i need to do is now get the pattern the same, Is there anyway to get rid of the body lines on the car? say the pop up headlights lines?

ok that didnt work either, the one i am using is from master skinnerz but making it smaller doesnt do the trick its still very big on the car still. gonna try to find another one.

on the cf right? i am using 1024x1024 for the xrt skin and 2048x2048 for the CF

Ok so i have the CF skin open, I was trying to do it piece by piece so i open up the skin and magic wand the wing, hit ctrl-c to copy. i then move the wing over to the CF skin and hit CTRL-V. but i dont know what to do after that. Also if i can do it with all the parts at once how would i do it?
