The CPU is a huge bottleneck, even with a 5000+ BE @ 3,4GHz, my gfx is limited by the CPU.... but with high quality settings everyting is runing fine

Hi, buy a Leadtek GeForce 7600GT AGP. It cost ~ 150€ and it is 15% faster than a GeForce 6800ultra 512MB and it's same as a ATi Radeon x850XT AGP!

Ocrana is the best for me!

Have you PCI-e or AGP?
If you have AGP it's the best GFX Card you can get for this Price!
But if you have PCI-e than better buy a X1800XL/XT it cost not much more but the performance improvment is BIG(X1800XT)!

Don't buy a Athlon64! The new Intel Core2Duo is MUCH faster than the Athlons!
Buy a Core2Duo E6400 and you will have long time fun with that CPU!

Yes a new PSU is a very good idea! A Seasonic S12 380W or 430W is the best choise for you and its not expensive!

But you don't must buy an nVidia GeForce 7600GT(XXX) !
ATi cards runs with LfS better than nVidia Card's. So an Radeon X1800GTO
is a good choise and it is cheap! But when you have more money buy a 1900GT. But only when you buy a better PSU (min. seasonic S12 430W)!

The nVidia GeForce 7600GT is the best Card for your system!
The nVidia GeForce 7900GT is to powerful for your CPU. You have with an 7900GT a BIG-CPU-LIMITATION

Look for an XFX GeForce 7600GT XXX it's the fastest 7600GT and its cheap(core 590MHZ/ Ram 1600MHZ) about ~ 160€
