Jaime Alguersuari did not that bad considering, just 2.5 tenths of Buemi in the first practice session. Although I think Bourdais would have gone a bit better :/
I'm looking forward to FP2, I think Johnny Herbert is meant to be jumping into the commentary booth, so it shall be interesting to see what he says.
It's sounding really promising, I'd like to see who's going to be playing next year although it's a bit early just now & I'd have to see if I could get a few people to come with me.
So are you all going to meet up and have a big LFS Scottish meet-up :P
Doesn't mean his driving is better ... Just means his sponsorship money is better than the Frenchman's.
I think they'd have been better to keep Bourdais until the end of the season, at least then they would have know that they had an experienced driver instead of two rookies.
I agree to an extent, but he's been driving regularly this year in the WSR, so that should help him out to an extent. He'll just be trying to familiarise himself to the car this weekend I presume. Anyone putting a bet on a top 15 finish :P
It would be more interesting if it rained, with no previous F1 experience other than straight-line testing. Now that would be fun to watch
It'll be interesting to see what Brawn can pull out of the bag, since these conditions are meant to be suited much better towards their cars . Although I think Red Bull probably have the advantage over Brawn now, I'm afraid
Will be an interesting race to watch nevertheless.
I know what you mean but Mosely says that Todt will have no affiliation with Ferrari in any way, shape or form.
Vatanen surely must be the best placed man for the job, hopefully he'll get it and give the FIA a tidy up. Unlike Todt who "is going to carry on from the last 16 years" or something like that ..
He doesn't suck, if he sucked so much he would have been out of F1 a long time ago. He's not been in the sport for 17 years if he sucked as much as you make out he does.
This season he's had a vast amount of bad luck, with various clutch problems, pit stops and whatnot. Button has had more luck this season than anyone else really ...
I've picked Sutil, I think he's done a marvellous job this season. He's just had too much bad luck compared with the rest of the guys. Force India will score a point this season, I'm certain
Since it's the summer I suppose quite a lot of people will just be doing the usual stuff people do at summer
No harm in running solo. Once you perfect your hot-lap line then you just need to modify it to accommodate drafting, which isn't that hard to do with a little bit of practice.
You do need to draft once you're in the lead otherwise the people that are drafting behind you will catch you up in no time at all. Although I understand where you're coming from ...
Yep experience is defiantly a good thing to have whatever you're doing. You should pop onto (FM) OvaL JuNkieS 2 sometime, there is usually more people on there and you can always practice your drafting technique. Good luck
I liked him also, it's a shame that they have dropped him. I think if he had a half-decent car than he would have produced the goods, but I suppose with Red Bull focusing on the RB5 I doubt that would have happen soon
The number in the top right would be your FPS (Frames Per Second). 1.7 :o
Yeah I think you need to invest your money wisely, in either a new system or a Graphics card. Although I don't think that a card will improve your performance vastly. Although don't hold me to this
Sounds like you're talking about the Scots there Plaztik. You leave us alone you hear me I must say us Scots look rather fetching when the occasion wedding day pops up and we actually need to wear them
Edit: As others have already said I don't think you should take your laptop with you, but as you probably will I think you should pre-load Tetris and Space Invaders, Best games ever!
Well all I can say is that it's 48 hours later and no news has been announced that he's parted with Toro Rosso ...
Hopefully he'll be at Hungary with the new package that's been promised Would be a shame to see him disappear off the grid to be replaced by a rookie who's preparing for his 2010 season.
