There is seriously something wrong if someone doesn't find that sort of stuff exciting.

Personally I see Oval Racing as one of, if not the most exciting form of motorsport, I don't think there's another form in the world where you can see 3 or 4 drivers coming around the same turn at 200mph+ all going for the same peice of bitumen.

In the server now having a bit of a play.

Upon joining the ping was around the 350ms mark, but in game, the Latency meter seems fine, just the one green bar that rises occasionally, definitely raceable for any of us Aussies with a decent connection.

Don't let the ping on the server list put you off.

The problem is for us Aussies is that the server is hosted in the UK, so for a lot of us the ping would be around 2-250, which really isn't all that playable.

That being said mate, what's the server name, if I see it in the list i'll pop in for a spin.

magic wand the white text area then go to the menu 'select' then inverse, delete black area and change the text colour to white.

The Community, The way the Devs interact with the community, The skinning abilities and most importantly, it actually feels like you're behind the wheel.

It doesn't feel like a game as most other 'sims' do.


@Fischfix: Having car parts fall off would require all of the cars & parts to be remodeled, all the effort put into it wouldn't really reflect the 'fun' factor.

How do you set up the view to the front wheels?

Currently I use cockpit most of the time.

Currently I'm working on this 'Telstra Bigpond' FOX, but my ideas have all hit the ground, and I'm wondering if someone here has any ideas as to what i can to do 'complete' the skin, so to speak.

Hi there.

Thought I'd post here in the hopes of finding a friendly racing team willing to take me on board. I have been on LFS since 05, just running the demo, but I handed that account over to one of my friends, and am now under a new name, with a license!

I'm not the fastest driver in the world, but can run competitively on most tracks, even though I've been playing for some time, I'm still yet to completely adjust to some of the tracks. I would also be willing to take on the job of making some team skins, though not as good as some of big names in skinning, I feel confident in my ability to produce quality work.
