[quote=SilverArrows77;937440]but obvious exception would be, a car cant be considered to have passed another if it has completed a quicker pitstop in pitlane with other cars.quote]
I disagree there. I think that if you pass someone ahead of you in the pits due to a quicker pitstop, it should be considered a legal pass. If the person ahead of you refuels, changes tires, and repairs damage, you shouldn't be expected to wait for him if you're only there to refuel.
That's the only exception though. If you exit the pits behind the SC then you have to rejoin at the end of the pack.
*edit* just saw the new post. That's basicaly what I'm saying. I do suggest you add the update for passing on pitlane.
Plleeeeassse don't. It really sucks to get knocked out on lap1/turn1.
All I can say is that most people will be defending that inside line for t1. If you do try to make a move that you're not 100% sure you can pull off it'll probably end up with you and probably a few other people out of the race. And that's a bad first impresion if there ever was one.
That would be fun. Once we start getting bigger grids, we should have post race interviews for the top 3 finishers. Or maybe we should start doing interviews now to get the formula set for season 2. Anyone want to volunteer to make up questions after next round? If not, it sounds like fun, I might give it a go.
And at the same time we should market oneGP to that site that does video coverage of some of the bigger virtual race series between the different simulators (ie. lfs, rfactor, gtr..). "Inside Sim Racing".
And when was I not? I do belive I'm 2nd in points after missing 3 or 4 races, having 2 graphics glitches at AS3, and having my first race in oneGP be a week after buying s2 and buying a wheel a week or two later =P.
jk. I can't keep up with you, garfield, and taylor lol.
Now I see what happened. I looked at the start time for the second race.
As for race 2.. I'm gonna just blame it on the fact that I was sick. Damaged for 2/3s of the race (my own fault) and wasn't able to put together a good lap in any of the other 1/3 of the race. And sorry again to Roby and Boost.
I did a hand full of laps today. I'll do some more tomorrow and I'll send you the set.
Also, can anyone send me the AA BF1 skin? Preferably the #3 skin but any will do. I forgot to bring my skins with me when I moved. My email is [email protected].
wow. That's a lot of people moving in these last couple months. Me, slen, taylor, and now apparently maz. And I can't help thinking that I forgot someone.
I won't be racing again this round. My hand keeps on cramping up after 10-20 laps so I don't know if I could hold out for the whole race. Fortunately, my wheel should be getting to me this Sunday so I'll be back in the running for the next one.
Well guys. I got my laptop delivered ahead of schedule (which is amazing). I haven't run LFS on it yet so I dunno how it will run but I don't expect any problems. I'm also on a nvidia graphics card now so maybe my graphics will stop cutting out randomly.
I haven't had my wheel shipped up yet so I won't be at full throttle yet, but I'll at least be able to be online and in LFS.
Boston is great so far. One of my roommates is my best friend and the other two guys are cool and good musicians as well. We're still furnishing the apartment (my room is currently only filled with a shelf and an air matress). I should be getting a desk today and a bed/futon by the end of the week. And the weather here is great. It seems I left Miami just in time to escape a flurry of hurricanes.
I'm moving to the northeast. Boston, MA. Actualy, I hate to do this sense the grids have been small lately but I wont be able to race in this next round. It turns out that instead of shipping my computer up to Boston, I'm ordering a new laptop that I'll use up there. The problem is that it probably won't get there until the 12th so I'll be out of commision from tomorrow until then. It sucks but it's one of those unavoidable things.
Taylor, if your knee is feeling better then you still have the go-ahead to race for AA. And if you know of someone else that is willing to drive then I give you the authority to let them. Just make sure they are clean. But don't push it if your knee is still in pain.
Great to have another series to race in =). Unfortunately, I'll probably miss the first few races cuz I'm moving on the 31st and I'm ordering a new laptop that will get there around the 11th, plus I'm not shipping up my wheel right away. But I look forward to getting in the running asap.
Taylor. If your knee is feeling ok, then please race with me for AA the next few series. Oh, btw... On this Sunday I'm moving to the other side of the country. And I don't know if I'll have a computer or even a wheel to race with. Hopefully I'll be good to go. But if not then I'll be there for the race after SO. We'll see how it works out.
