I am trying to promote WasabiCars - a Youtube channel run by an individual by the name of Daniel. He moved out to Japan from Australia and uses his free time to visit car shows and posts video coverage of his awesome finds. This is great for individuals such as myself who only get to witness older Japanese cars over the internet. Sometimes pictures just don't suffice, so video is an awesome option!
As BS as it might sound, I'm honestly just trying to get his channel out to all those who like Japanese cars but only really have the internet alone to appreciate them. Daniel didn't ask me to do this - I don't even know the guy! This is just to help share a resource with those who like the classics as much as I do.
These cars definitely deviate quite a bit from LFS-style cars. But if Japanese classics is your kind of thing, go and have a look for yourself!
I know I did not know him, but even the death of a stranger is sad..
R.I.P. Joe - you are in a better place now. Prayers go out all of his friends, family, and all those here on the forum who were close to him. He is at peace.
I'd say it's alot more than simply this forum community. Sadly, any online communities are succeptible to ill attitude. It's only because people feel they do not have to provide the same respect over the internet as they would interacting in person. I garuntee half of the people conveying unfriendly comments wouldn't have the nerve to do so in person.
This really isn't pointed at anyone, nor by any means does it apply to the majority. I simply find it sad how some find it difficult to show a bit of respect for the fellow community. Think about it - we're simply an extended family. We JOINTLY are the reason why this game is still alive and kicking - so why do some insist on putting down other 'family' members?
Personally, I no longer make threads, post skins, or make videos simply because they never seem to be good enough for the rude people who choose only to reply with negativity and questioning my motives of sharing in the first place (constructive criticism would be an EXCELLENT alternative).
Sad, but it's how the world goes 'round.

Reason : Failed spelling while at work ;)
I personally stumbled upon this after buying S2! Personally, I feel it's just an unreleased version of the MRT5. Essentially, it's the same as the MRT5 without the little canards around the wheels along with the front/rear wings. It does look interesting, but that rear wing is floating!
Verdict: Unfortunately - this exact appearance of the MRT5 does not appear in the game, but I can assure you those additions would only offer down-force options, which could be seen as unnecessary given the specs of that car. Despite the lack of this EXACT design in the game, the MRT5 at its present appearance/specs is a beautiful car to drive. In other words, S1/S2 is well worth the buy
@Elite - Thank you for your constructive criticism
@Squid - Thanks alot man. That post really shows your insecure, childish personality. Im not here to entertain you, you scumbag. I posted it for the people who might actually APPRECIATE IT. And dont even say its not capable of being appreciated. Take your unneccesary criticisms elsewhere. We aren't even on the same page - I play this game once a month, and you mouth off like I should be a movie-making guru. And honestly, I couldn't care less about the quality of my movies, go shove that movie-making guide up your rear end. Put your priorities in order and come back when your head is screwed on correctly. I myself (and I'm sure all of the other movie makers who have fallen victim to your nagging attitude) realize what a immature baby you really are... (glad to see I identified the elephant in the room...) Oh, and in my opinion, dont even bother posting back, just leave with the little dignity that you still have. And once again, thanks for giving me a reason to speak my mind...scumbag

Reason : wanted to make squid seem like even more of an ignorant fool
[spam] this thread is going nowhere and will CONTINUE to go nowhere (besides pointless argueing of course) [/spam]
EDIT: most people are telling you logical things, so dont accuse us of flaming. seriously, go mow a lawn or something. and as it was said before, i think you should be worrying more about a job and education to fund your life rather than trying to find funds for a game....
A big thank you goes out to all those who responded. All our your opinions/input is greatly appreciated and I have a much better insight of what may be in store for us all, so thanks again and feel free to make an addition to what is already here!
Hmmm, well I dont mean to post to spam or anything. And I apologize if there is a thread already like this, this is just a quick post. Has it ever crossed anyone's mind that this lack of communication between the devs and players may be foreshadowing the release of S3? This may indicate them hard at work trying to finish. The "recall" of the sirocco just may have been them changing their minds to include the sirocco in S3. I mean thats what it seems to me. Idk, just figured I'd put this out there, just my 2cents.
EDIT: And in no way am i provoking spam or whining about the delay, I couldn't care less. Just figured I'd share my thoughts.
......you are a DEMO RACER. you do not have access to the FZR....therefore you have no place POSTING to bring back a nearly 3 year old thread...... :slap:
Oh I'm terribly sorry, i did not make them the specifcations you had asked for. Is that alright or would you like me to repost the sizes that you requested?
Here is the completed skin(s). I apologize for the poor quality. Like I said, I am no master skinner . But I assure you it looks reasonablely presenatble in the game. I hope you like it.
I am actually quite bored at the moment and have a few free minutes. Shouldnt be too hard to reproduce, but I'm no master skinner. Im assuming you would like it for the XRT? I'll give it a go.
What do you mean by "unselect"? I just want to reinstate that the problem is that when i am done using the wireframe and the layer is deleted, there are lines where the wireframe used to be. I am just asking if there is any way to prevent this from happening. Or i might have misunderstood your answer...
EDIT: My method of skinning witht he wireframe is to color 1 shape at a time. When I am done coloring them all and I remove the lines and this si when the "blank" lines appear from where the wireframe used to be. When I color using the bucket to fill all area and then remove the wireframe, there are no lines. Does this mean that this is the only method in wich i can skin with easy removal of the lines?
Wow. Thanks alot! THis problem has preventing me from making good skins for a whlie now. Now hat its resolved i can make great skins again. Thanks LFSnoob
EDIT: Wait, when you delete the layer it leaves blank lines of no color where the wireframe used to be. Is there any possible way to merge the shards?
I can open psd files fine with GIMP also. I just have a question, how do you get rid of the lines once you have colored the skin without completely destroying the skin?
All of these ideas are great! I have acutally pondered the idea of having a setup sorter once but was too lazy to post on the count that I was lying down to go to sleep . +1 for all three. Please clear up #2 if you can; I believe you mean like report swearing.
I agree. This is not a bug. After further investigation, you do indeed go up the curb. The stiff suspension does not adapt to the angle in which the car is at and the car procedes to take a slight bump. This causes the tires to lose grip which resulted in the spin. Simply just watch out so you dont go too far up the curb
Reguarding the "new track", its not a new track at all. They just simply have rotate map on and when the screenshot was taken, the track was rotated at a particular angle
Sorry for the incorrect wording. Yes, you are right LFSnoob, it is possible to recreate and it can be considered a bug. All you have to do is change the values of certain files in the colours folder. That is all that I understand that the moment. I will have to ask my friend for the rest of the details later.
Just to let you guys know, this IS possible. It is NOT a bug. I am still unaware how to perform this act, but my friend showed me this just yesterday. If you are interested about finding out how to do this, contact me in a few days when I know how
