Yesterday I guess I was racing on a server which has LFS-Lapper installed...
but I can't remember which it was illepall

What about a list of which server has it already installed ???

This would be a great advertisment for the server I think

Great animations !!! Good promo !

It would be nice to see that animations in real race... by pushing a button you can look to the racer next to and then with another button greet him with a " ".

wow what an idea illepall

"No restarts" would be great !!!

Other ways:

A: what about persisting on the voting-principle and the last word (vote) has the actual race leader ?!?!?
B: The race leader has to decide wheter the race restarts or not...
C: The vote of the race-leader weights 2 votes

I guess option "C" is the best one...

Of course there are the split times yet, but to small for people who wear glasses

The time of displaying the split is an other point, but not less interesting...
Additional Split times in HUD

Hi LFS fans,

I searched but didn't find any thread asking about this.

The split times that show the time gap to the cars ahead/behind you in a race are much to small to read them while fighting in race.

My previous improvment suggestion was to make the split times in the lower right corner a bit bigger, but if there are many people on track it could overlay the entry of a corner...

My solution would be to make an extra split time for the guy in front and in back in the upper right corner, like this:

Is that possible ??? That would be really great

great Idea, and would it be possible to change the size of this display in the lower right corner???

When I'm driving I can't read the timegaps cause they are to small !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A simple change-possibility like for the messages would solve the problem !

...good work so far

I edited the config-file, but I couldn't connect to the server.
There is the following message: "SetupServerSocket: bind failed"

Will there be a new feature, by changing the server you needn't close LFS all the time? Is that possible ?

Thx for that resurrection of M@T

@ mrodgers: It is very unusual to look upwards to see what is going on behind you while sitting in a F1-car, isn't it ?
That's the point I don't want to turn on the virtual rearmirror. The virtual side-mirrors would be great.
I guess it's no big problem to build in such a view-add-on, and it would help a lot off people...

@ Rappa Z: 76Frames, I'm standing on the grid with no movement and there are no cars on track. Further more there are 3,2 GHz behind me... :-)
New virtual mirrors (sidemirrors)

Hi all,

since the last update, which was a great one, there is a big problem with the mirrors when sitting in the breathtaking BF1 !!!

Sitting in normal position by a "Field of view" of 70° there is no way to see the sidemirrors !!! What about extra virtual (!) mirrors like the rearmirror by pressing "SHIFT" + "M" ???

The two windows could be positioned in the bottom corners, but they mustn't overlay the F9-F12 parameters.

Here my suggestion:

I got an answer from my provider by mail !!! The upstream provider of my local provider had difficulties with their routing. I hope the connection problems are solved now !!!

It seems that the problems has nothing to do with LFS
Connection to "Master Server" failed

Hi LFS-Fans,

since saturday I have problems getting connected with the Master Server of LFS.

In former times there were no difficulties at all. I guess it depends on the routing mechanism of my local provider NEFkom (comparable with German Telecom).

My System is running well, dispite this failure. I can also connect to the internet and teamspeak and so on... no probs
I have no firewalls, and I have nothing changed on my running system !

Its really strange because I never had problems with my connection to Master Server in the past !!! But for example yesterday and today at about 18 o'clock the connection to master server worked perfectly.

Its seems that my provider has temporarily problems with its routing. The last few days I managed to analyse by connecting to masterserver and you can see below that the packets are getting trapped in a circle till TTL getting down.

So is there anyone out there who has an idea ???

Please help !
