Setup not "constant"
Hi, Well, it's more an impressiñon than an certitude, but I've "observed" that using a setup that works great (newly modified and stored whith a new name) , exiting the race and re-entering, the same setup behaviour is very different. I noticed this some times in last months. ¿Is it possible that some randomness is affecting car behaviour? Maybe some memory corruption, or not storing the correctly the setup. I repeat.... It's an impression, but I noticed this behaviour so often.... While racing (without exiting) the car behaves in a constant way with the "new" setup. After exitin an re-entering, it's very different... Anyone with the same behaviour??? Raftor
It could be the fact that your tires are not warmed up.

wind maybe?
I dont think so. My tyres behave similar.... (same temperature pattern, max temp, etc) It's the same circuit... in succesive races, so it's not normal to change wind or race conditions. It seems that actual setup (memory setup) does not correspond to stored one. I don't know if it's at storage time or a reading time. Or maybe all is my imagination and my lack of constancy 8) Thanks for your responses. raftor

The wind actually does randomly change direction from race to race when it is enabled.
yea, i remember testing the prelead option in lfs for the first time... i had no idea there was wind enabled. im thinking, wtf has this done to the setups?
Noob.
yeah i was like, well thats totally fu**ed everything
went passed a windmill thingo and thought.. is that thing supposed to be spinning?

Are you sure you are drinking the same booze everytime?
There have been times when the "feeling" has been completely different, and not just because of wind. From one server to another the grip goes from "mushy" to sticky tar, but laptimes are identical
you guys are tripping

Yeah, I noticed that behaviour....

But this change can happend if its cloudy or sunny. My problem is thar a car setup behaves diferent in the same server, after re-entering and using a previously stored setup. The server han't been restarted.

And..... yes.... I drink the same stuff... (duff:nod

thanx for the responses....
