mine is currently sat in my shed with a full tank and has been for the past 2 weeks and that still starts and runs fine.
it shouldnt just lock up if left for a while, i was oround my cousins when he got is buggy our he haddent used for 6months and that started fine even with me starting it, and im crap at starting nitros
Quote from brt900 :hi ive managed to get it started atround first time past few weeks but my switch has gone in my receiver so i have to plug the battery in directy but i sort of accidently left fuel in a few nights ago and now my pullstart is stuck solid and so is my throttle what can i do to loosen them

Did you run it in the wet/rain/snow?

I have a Kyosho Inferno GT, and once ran it in the snow (big empty parking lot in a ski resort... most fun i ever had with an RC car) and the pullstart was blocked the next day. It was because of the water that got into the pull start... it started to rust the inside parts just a little... and they got stuck. I had to disassemble the pull starter and fix it (don't try that if you don't feel confident about it).

It's generally a bad idea to leave fuel in the tank of an RC car. Everybody knows that. You can eventually damage your engine. Always drive until theres no more fuel, or pump it out when there still is. Never leave it in the tank.

take out the glowplug and pull the start a few times.... most probably its flooded
also if youre gonna store it for a while dont forget to put some kind of afterrun oil into the engine

oh and my advice chances are you have some kind of battery driven electric drill at home... ditch the pull start and use that to start the engine youll have much much more control over it

whys that? normally the fuel shouldnt be able to get into the carburetor without any exhaust pressure
my friend said its because the piston was left at the top
yh jibber i know but what im saying is you can sometimes get away with it, as for leaving the piston at the top , i know the sleeves are tapered but i wouldnt have thought it would
