Hey guys, sorry if this has been suggested before but I have searched for it.
I would like to see a simple feature implemented to avoid penalties during league races
. More and more leagues penalise the use of chat during race. So it would be nice (and not very difficult, I think) to have a key that temporarily disables f1-f8 keys (like '-' for blocking messages).
Reason for this is that I've already seen it happen that someone wanted to see what the state of his tyres were, he accidentally hit f8 and f9 together resulting in "Sorry!" and a drive through penalty for chatting.
What I do now is delete all key binds before a league race but this is a lot of hassle having to set them up again, everytime.
Also possible is using two player profiles, one with and one without key binds but still I think a key for this would be easier.
Hope you agree and that we can see this small feature in LFS in the future.
