Lol yer but I can tell you for a fact the designers didn't say "right, we need this engine and it's parts to last half a million miles because it's going to be driven across vast expanses of land it's whole life".

it made it across the local beach in one peice...

then a field, then a country lane before getting a punture...


then i just left it in first and let it hit a tree

only the rad got knackered, then i just rev'd the life out of it, litterally...
