Demo FBM Series - General
Hi everyone!

Yesterday (Fri 10.10.2008) we had a test run and apart from a minor mistake from my part everything went well. We had a nice amount of people racing and Jshaw took an impressive double victory. Thanks to all who took part! The statistics of the race can be seen in the official AA site at http://racingteam.aa24.net/. The direct link for the FBM Demo Series is http://airattackracing.ovh.org/events/FBMD/.

The Series will start next Friday 17.10 at 19:00 UCT, 20:00 UK Time. Qualification will start 15min to 30min before that at approximately 18:30 UCT. The series will hold a total of 12 events, two 25min + 1 lap races and a qualification each. Rest of the rules can be read at http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=49090.

Sing ups will be open the whole season and you can join the server without signing up, but in case the server gets overcrowded the priority will be given to people who have signed up and/or have already taken part of the series. To sign up use the little form in http://airattackracing.ovh.org/events/FBMD/ at the left side of the screen.

Happy racing everyone and hopefully we'll have a full grid when the season opens next Friday!

Hi!

Just wanted to mention to all of the demo users that the server most likely will not display on the serverlist. You need to manually join [AA] AirAttack Racing to get in.

See you on the track!

EDIT: LAST MINUTE PANIC ATTACK THE SERVER HAS BEEN SWITCHED TO www.airattack.co.uk #1
Hi everyone!

What an interesting day last night. Due to some troubles we had the change the server to another one and postpone the qualifying by 30min. Due to an experimental grid setup system the Race 1 start order was not quite what it was supposed to be and there was a restart after Race 2's start due to a major...hick up...on T1. This was the race the test race was supposed to be I suppose, but I think all that participated can agree in the end it went pretty smoothly in the end. Sorry for any inconvenience to anyone, especially if there were people who wanted to join, but due to the server troubles couldn't.

The races themselves went without any major incidents. Some people had some bad luck, running out of fuel, overheated tires, anti-virus popups etc. etc.. Never the less, the race was intense and I was lucky enough to capture a double victory. As usual the race statistics can be seen in the official AirAttack website at http://racingteam.aa24.net/ and the direct link to the DEMO Series is http://airattackracing.ovh.org/events/FBMD/. I would like to thank once more to everyone who participated!

The next race is scheduled for next Friday, 24th of October ad 19:00 UCT (18:30 for qualifying). Hope to see you all and more there!

P.S. The replays can be downloaded from http://www.saunalahti.fi/jakbot/FBME1.zip
Hi everyone!

I would like to remind everyone that the server does not list on the server list if you are a demo user. You will have to manually connect through multiplayer -> join specific host and type [AA] AirAttack Racing in the Host Name field.

Hope to see you all on the track today!
Hi everyone!

Yet another exiting race this evening! Again some people had bad luck, but overall it went great! As always the statistics can be seen at the official AirAttack Racing website at http://racingteam.aa24.net/. The direct link for the series is http://airattackracing.ovh.org/events/FBMD/. The replays can be downloaded from http://www.saunalahti.fi/jakbot/FBME2.zip.

Next race will be held at the same place at the same time on Friday, 31st of October. For our non-European racers, the time is an hour later due to daylight savings time is canceled next Sunday: 20:00 UTC/GMT (UK Time), 21 CET, 22 EET.

Hope to see you all back next Friday for another great race!

P.S. This is an open thread, everyone can post their questions and feedback .

That was a great battle at the end of race 2, a few more laps and I would have caught both of you.

I've never seen so many people doing 1:12 laps in one race.
Hi everyone!

Yesterday was again a fantastic day! Even though the grid wasn't full, the racing was intense and easy took an impressive double win. We saw spinning and gliding, people running out of fuel and even cars upside down. I would like to thank everyone participating!

The rankings, stats and replays can be found in the official AirAttack Racing website, http://racingteam.aa24.net/, the direct link for our series is http://airattackracing.ovh.org/events/FBMD/.

Hope to see you all back next Friday!

Mwhaha

Only 6 points behind.
Hi all!

The series hit its midway marker yesterday and what an exiting race it was once again! Jshaw took an impressive double win and is now leading the championship! I would like to thank everyone participating and hope to see everyone back next Friday.

All the statistics can be found from the official AirAttack Racing website at http://racingteam.aa24.net/. The direct link for the series is http://airattackracing.ovh.org/events/FBMD/.

Apparently the "2 worst events in the season are disqualified" rule was not known to everyone, so to illustrate that and to celebrate the midway marker I made a small chart. The events on a red background are the disqualified events and the numbers on the dark grayback ground are the points after the disqualified events are deducted.

Happy racing everyone!
Hi everyone!

7th event is behind us and it offered more exiting racing, unlucky racers and some unexplainable physical phenomenons. As always, the statistics can be seen and replays downloaded from the official AirAttack Racing site.

Happy racing!
Hi!

The Season has ended and we have a winner!

Congratulations Jshaw!

The balance of power kept changing during the season which made the races interesting. Apparently people had been very nice last year and got a lot of nice toys to play with so the end of the season was a bit lacking of drivers, but still the races were fun.

I would like to thank everyone for participating the season and I was honored to host it. I would also like to give special thanks EQWorry, JoRuss and the whole AirAttack organization for making this all possible. I would also like to thank my family and friends and all...ok ok I'll stop.

All the race results, rankings, statistics, replays and everything can be found from the official AirAttack Racing website at http://airattackracing.ovh.org/. The direct link for this series is http://airattackracing.ovh.org/events/FBMD/.

Happy racing everyone!
