Quote from Inouva :WEll i hope this one is not so CAOTIC like the first one , when you try to look the details and the Autobots and all the stuff , cuz you cant in the first movie , all the time moving and fighting and camera shake and you cant apriciate how the "Robot" are made

Also i see the second movie , is directed by steven spielberg , hope this movie go better that the first one

it was meant to be chaotic to make the action more intense, because those robots wont drink a quiet cup of tea with eachother.

The details of the robots were stunning IMO especially in the fights with all their gadgets, but maybe you were watching the wrong movie if you havent seen any....
Quote from Jertje :Let's hope they don't put Linkin Park at the end of the movie and ruin it like they did the first one.

Have you heard soulja boy - crack that in trailer of FnF 4? xD
Quote from DeadWolfBones :First one was horrible.

I agree. Great effects but I missed a good story or complex characters or something that made it special
but hey, what can you expect when the target audience has the range from 6 to 16.

Where did you saw that?
Spielberg is executive producer nothing more.

Anyway I'll watch the 2nd part but def. not going into the cinema for something like that.

Its a remix in FnF with some proper drums in the background, doesnt make the song so horrible.

Anyway, the first movie was outstanding. Loved every part of it, cant wait for 2nd one.
Transformers - too fancy stuff for me

Proper drums make "now wa-me cwank dat supaman, USE IT" seem logical and make sense? Because the lyrics is exactly what's wrong with it

Did i say it was good?! I dont think i did......

I think the target audience is a bit more wide-ranging than that. It's meant to appeal to young men who might have liked the cartoon or played with the toys as children too.

I liked Transformers, but like you I hope the sequel is not going to rely on epic special effects which saved the first film.
Plot holes, lazy writing* and some empty characters blighted it (Uncle Bobby B not included). I mean, ok, it's a sci-fi film, so you're supposed to suspend disbelief and immerse yourself in that "world" for 2 hours or so, but once you've accepted the idea that these really nice looking robots exist a lot of the story and a lot of little details and parts are just nonsense, and if you ignore the effects there's no substance.

2 will have to be better than a simply "more of the same" sequel.

*REALLY lazy writing.
One of several obvious examples: "Let's get that cube to a populated area and then take it to the top of a tall building and hand it to someone in a helicopter!
What? The ones that can turn into planes and helicopters can fly!? And they might cause a little bit of trouble and possibly endanger a few people in that city? Oh, well, I can't be bothered to think of anything better. Execute plan dumbass-military!"

I know sinbad, it was just exaggerated.

btw they already cut the 2nd movie differently to get a better MPAA rating, from R (not under 17) to PG-13, just to make it suitable for the mass.

Anyway me as a big sci-fi freak will watch it, like I did with almost every other sci-fi movie/tv-series in the past 20 years
WTF is it with people wanting "Complex Characters"? I can't see how it would have helped the film any...
Ok, maybe the storyline could have been deeper, but it was good enough, and of equal quality to any of the storylines in the original cartoon. As someone who enjoyed the cartoon as a child, i loved the movie, i didn't see it until it came out on bluray but i really enjoyed it.
I'm undecided whether i'll go and watch the sequel at the cinema or not, i like sitting at home watching movies better tbh, much more of an immersion factor

This makes it more believable for me, it sounds EXACTLY like something the US Military would do
The Transformers were a total slight against God. In as much as God sent his only begotten son to die on the cross to redeem mankind and all we did to pay him back was make terrible ****ing cartoons, like the Transformers.
Who's this "God"?
