Hello,

I wanted to update my current avatar. I'm 100% sure that the new image was under 50kB and it was 96x96px + it was GIF format. I also tried to upload avatar of my friend...

The problem is, that lfsw status line says that the avatar was sucessfully updated, but in fact after I load my statistics profile, the avatar is missing. Only empty space. I also tried to delete my avatar. After this operation default lfsw avatar loaded. On this I tried to update the avatar again, but result was the same as before.

Not really a big or an important bug, but still.

I'm requesting if anyone could try update his avatar and post what was the result. Thanks.

Same here. I tried to upload something to test it, and my pic doesn't appear.

Same here. Explorer shows just the red X, "picture not found".

wow .. that must have been an ancient bug!

fixed now (you need to reupload avatar though).

EDIT: When I tried to upload a JPG image it reported that I didn't upload a valid image. Please anyone try to upload a JPG image.

Only .gif works here.

i still get the message that my avantar is invalid, only jpg of gif aloud.

That makes perfect sense to me. JPG for static images, GIF for animated images, what other file formats do you REALLY need for an avatar anyway. Please don't say BMP, it will make me cry.

Hey, look at the pic he attached. It's a jpeg.

Could PNG be allowed as well? For avatars I like to avoid using JPG if I can.

I guess it doesn't test the image if it's animated or not. And no, GIF is not only for animated images. It lowers images' size.
