Logitech G25 dieing while playing
Hello,

I got a problem some days ago that my wheel dies while I'm playing.

For example... I'm driving, I'm in a main straight and my wheel dies... So the car keeps accelerating and going straight (or keeps steering if i'm doing a corner) and the Force Feedback effects still on.

It only stops when I unplug the USB. Any of you guys had this problem? How can I solve this?
Sounds like your LFS window loses focus, instead of replugging the wheel, try going to windowed mode and back to maximised mode (SHIFT+F4, wait, SHIFT+F4).

You'll still have to find out what's causing the loss of focus though

I'm not sure if would be that, because I minimize and press Shift+f4 many times and the wheel keeps crashed like I'm still playing.
Maybe one of your cables is stuck between the wall and is now broken. (as in the metal wire on the inside is gone)

Try SHIFT+C when that happens next.

Would be possible? The wires has always been free here.

Happened again some minutes ago. I pressed Shift+C and nothing. Minimized etc and still nothing, and note, I reinstalled all softwares related to Logitech. Again, only solved repluging the USB.
yeah i have the same problem

Too bad Hugo...

What I would suggest is to try it on another computer, so you can exclude any mainboard or USB controller error (whatever the error is from software or hardware). There is a small chance that the USB controller go crazy and stop to communicate with the wheel.

Try also to reduce the FF intensity in order to verify if the power supply is not causing this issue. Sometimes fast dips on the voltage can make the wheel electronics behave strangely.

I only saw that this thread is old after replying. AFAIK Hugo had to buy a new wheel.
well my warranty expired lol so might as well look inside the wheel fiddle with it
