i have been playing LFS for just over a year now, its got to the point where i want to start trying out other peoples setups, however so time in the past i think i have changed a setting somewhere, that means when i save the setup it saves as a publisher document so when i place this in the data/setup folder, it has know affect can some one please help me thankyou

rename the setup to only have the prefix ".set"

im not really sure what you mean i ment, do u know how to change the setting where by it does not save it as a publisher document, but in stead the right format so that LFS can read it and i can use the setup

So long as it has the file extension ".set" (go to folder options, view, uncheck hide extensions for known file types to check) then it will be able to be opened by inside LFS.

as in save it in the folder as CAR_example.set

The file association can be changed inside firefox > preferences > applications

At the windows side, can't remember and I'm not on a windows box atm.
