wtf i get like 20-30 emails everyday and i saved since one year ago, and i have 15900 emails, 90% of them are from LFSForum.
I also deleted 10000 emails the year before and yet again 60% from LFSForum.
How much do you get and from where.

The majority of the emails i get are from facebook, the rest are apple, sometimes lfs forum, chain mails, and other such crap.

I currently have 72,244 unread emails on my work email, not including the spam folder. They all require some action. I am a very busy person.

My personal email has 1,000 unread emails, mostly from subscription services or automated notices. I tend to note the subject lines as they come in on my phone and do not actually read them unless I don't know what it is. In all I have 1620 emails in my personal email folder from this year.

I regard eMail - a communication tool - to have failed. It does not aid in communication, it's primary purpose is now for marketting. For personal messages I tend to use facebook private messages which allow me to send my messages as a video, and SMS for quick text updates when I dont feel like going to all the bother of a video.

Agreed. I think you should subscribe to less threads. I can't think why else you would get emails from the forum? You only have one birthday per year and you're not a section owner, so you won't get reported posts.

i dont even use emails anymore, 200 odd un-read, folders about 40 % full

Judging by your previous spamming exploits, I wouldnt be suprised if you sent 70k emails aroX.

I get around 20 emails per day, including forum/youtube/website subscriptions, plus around another 20 work ones.

I'm not a huge user of email. Or MSN. Or Skype...

857emails.. none of them from any forum, no spam messages. Only important ones

I dont get very much emails, normally 0-5 emails a day. But, my problem is that i never delete them - for now, i have alot of emails tho.

Someone might be subscribing to newsletters and other stuff with ur email. Thats what happened to me once, with old account and thatswhy i went on the new one. Not sure tho.

3003. i'd have more but thunderbird deleted some of my spam messages. since i run my own domain, i get at least one spam message every 3 minutes.

breakdown:

279 viruses, fake e-cards and fake UPS shipping notifications.
1587 spams caught by spamassassin, mostly "replica watches" or pill spam.
193 spams that weren't caught by spamassassin.
52 emails sitting in two trash bins, because i'm lazy.
189 from cbssports, hockey pool.
95 from the gentoo forums, mostly bugzilla spam or watch notifications.
63 from the lfs forums, mostly pm/subscription notifications.
255 sent emails that i retained.

that leaves some 300 other messages, i've lost track of where they are distributed... i've got 3(+1 alias) accounts on this domain alone, so it's hard sometimes...

I used to subscribe to all threads I find interesting. One day I decided to check my emails and I had almost 20,000 e-mails (from LFS Forum only). I cleaned them all, and changed most of my subscriptions to "no e-mail notification". That solved the problem I still subscribe to everything I find interesting, and receive about 20 LFS Forum e-mails a week now instead of more than 100 per day.

So did I. When I started reading the OP's post I thought it was a bit controversial since first he told us to post our email accounts on a public forum (thread title) and then says he's receiving a lot of e-mails

No new messages.

I get an email every time someone posts to "The Camera Showoff" thread. I get an email from LFS on my birthday and would get emails from people PMing me on my birthday. This past April, no one PMed me on my birthday! What's up with that????

I have 4 new emails. One from the camera thread which I just deleted, though I already read the new replies in the thread, an email about tomorrow's trial I am running, one yet again about the IT outage scheduled over our 2 week summer shutdown. No internet at work? Looks like I'm taking the day off, LOL. The 4th email is a daily tool change schedule on our production equipment that I get every day and delete without reading every day.

That's it.

for me i average about 5 emails a day 1 from UEFA as i am supscribed to the newsletter, usually 1 notifying me of a reply to my comment on youtube, 1 from my mother sending me spam aka chain mail that is fake but everyone thinks its real. and then the other 2 just random stuff. and sometimes i get spam in my email saying i should try viagra but why should i?
