That reminds me, I was driving on I495 the other day, which is the highway that circles Washington DC. There's three lanes, it's about 12:30am. I'm driving in the center lane going 57mph, and the speed limit was reduced to 50mph due to construction. There was no other traffic. I was staying out of the right lane because there was a wall right there and no shoulder due to construction, and where there's construction there's usually debris. This tractor trailer, or "lorry"

If I were feeling reckless I would hit the brakes hard enough so that he would have locked up his tires and then floor it and watch him jacknife behind me. But i didn't like the possibility of me getting run over. I hate how truck drivers, in the US at least, feel that rules don't apply to them just because they have 30 tons of weight behind them.
