Now people will moan about collision detection?^^
Woopty ****ing doo.
Maybe he doesn't know that it's a part of the insim application but the LFS feature. He should move this to the bugs section then, though
Alien. :spvader:

You are the god...

Or he stopped and was smashed into by someone else?
Well done.

Go away now.
Here is the usual cause of this sudden acelleration that you speak of...

Is there any big reason to make a crap on this forum?
OMG! CHEAT! BAN HIM!!!11 :bananadea
dude if you could accelerate that fast in real life you would exert ~ 2,000,000 lbs, or around 10,000 Gs on your self! Sick.

A way how to make a driver completely flat

:mr-t: I pity da foo' who says ma sarcasm detector is broken!

On a serious note, How did you actually achieve 0.1sec to 100km ?

To do what he said - travel 100km in 0.1 seconds - would take 203kG. You can't determine the level of thrust required without knowing the mass of his vehicle.

To do what he meant (but failed to write) - accelerate to 100km/h - would take just 170G. Not 10,000.

It's unlikely the human body would survive, although I doubt it's been fairly tested!

those things have quite a lot of torque!

no...

tristan dude, did you actually do the calculations?

considering a constant acceleration, 100 km/h / 0.1 s / 9.80665 m/s^2 ~= 28.33

it would take 28.33g

also: WELCOME

David Purley lived through 179.8G in his Silverstone crash

(He decelerated from 108 MPH to 0 in a distance of 66 cm after his throttle got stuck wide open and he hit a wall. :schwitz

But in this case he only felt it for a split second.
If we pretend in LFS the car would actually have been shot in the air by a barrier, the driver's feeling it for a much longer time, and not to forget, the massive impact into the ground again.
