Had a first look through the official car list before...

Is it just me, or were 99% of the cars in Forza 2 already?

Don't get me wrong, it'll still be a blast! I simply expected some more new stuff i guess... instead of a new game with all the old cars. Meh...
I remember reading that there are around 100 or so totally new cars......
Quote from Dajmin :(bigger wheels improved acceleration, while smaller ones gave you more speed)

*cough* Other way round... :hide:

Like you guys, i'm also looking forward to the storefront. I think it's great that you have your own little shop, so to speak, to show off all the pictures, videos and liveries that you have gathered.
Quote from danowat :I remember reading that there are around 100 or so totally new cars......

I'm sure there are a few we haven't seen in Forza 2 (already spotted a few that i'll enjoy for sure). However, a big part of those hundred new cars are just different versions/new models from cars we already had in F2?

Okok... i'll take it back!

I'll correct my statement: I find most of the new cars are cars i wouldn't have missed if they wouldn't have made it into the game. Some are awesome, but i couldn't care less for most of them (i wouldn't complain if they replaced all the racing cars with cool road cars for example, but that's just me)...

PS: No, Boris didn't pay me to write those posts!
I know what you mean, I can remember feeling decidely "Meh" when I read the full list.

Still, theres 400 odd cars, and I reckon I drove less than half of the cars in FM2 anyway!
Quote from Nathan_French_14 :*cough* Other way round... :hide:

Yeah, whatever - it's been a long time Does that mean that the reason my car likes to go fast is because she's running on microscopic 13s?

Quote from danowat :127 NEW CARS = 45 NEW COMPETITION CARS + 82 NEW STREET CARS.

There's not that many cars I'm really excited about, but I think the 400+ will have a few that'll be fun to drive. I reckon I'll still enjoy the lower-spec ones more than the full on racing spec ones though.
Quote from danowat :Yup, had to change my order to courier delivery as the strike is due to start on 22nd Oct

Same here (sort of) I ordered through play.com but cancelling that order and pre-ordering it from gamestation. That way I can pick it up in store on firday so I know I will definatly have it.

It is always the car though. I agree though, give me one racing car not the same racing just with different liveries. That way more room for road cars

PS: We all know he did, so don't deny it
Just got back from Exeter, FM3 preordered and luckily (well not really luckily as I have to go pick it up) if you preorder from a store they don't deliver. No biggy as it means I don't have to worry about the posty shouting infront of a bonfire.

It does seem like most the new content is racing cars which is fine as some of them look nice, but they wouldn't be my first choice to go racing with. Light, grippy road cars with under 200bhp keep me amused for hours.

NOOO stil no suzuki

Lowered powered cars do provide some good racing I agree. However, my favorite is more a light, RWD car with around 300 bhp with no traction control or stability control gives good, close racing, with a bit of speed with the added element of not being able to plant it due to the power.

So many ways to have fun in FM2, bring on FM3 now I feel withdrawn from FM3 already and I don't own it yet

Quote from Chrisuu01 :NOOO stil no suzuki

Apart from the swift maybe, what suzuki would you want?
I can't wait to build another Civic VTi. I'm sure alot of you who have raced me on FM2 know of my current C-Class one on FM2, as it's all i use. I love it.
do you guys recjon if ipreordered the lce on saturday id still be able to ge tit on release if ipreorder from anywhere play.com game gamestation or blockbuster i dont really care about the special cars you get from certain preorders i just want the release dlc

I'd imagine so. Depends if they've still got them in stock (I say still in stock, I meant depends how many they get in stock ready for release), which I would've thought so.

No harm in asking.

It'll be the Lapin and the Splash he wants. The sexiest of automobiles

The escudo pikes peak duh.
Also the swift the lapin splash and maybe the cappucino (biut for the love of god not the wagon r).

I wil be able to remake atleats the sticker job
Quote from Gabkicks : My 911 Turbo S wheel just came, now I just need forza 3.

I'm jealous. I ordered my wheel slightly late, so I don't expect to receive it for at least another week or two (but hopefully I'm wrong about that). Playing with the controller just isn't cutting it.

Sadly, these great cars are not going to be available to people who buy FM3 "Outcast Edition", sold in the majority of countries.

No, every copy of the game has a coupon with a code to download those cars.

The special collector's edition superduper VIP cars are a different story.
Yeah, it sucks for those in non-live countries.

How do you get on with other downloads?, can you get content on live?.

The reason I ask, is because I may have a spare copy of the LCE, and if you wanted, I could sell that copy, complete with DLC card.......
