someone talk about make keyboad leds indicate something on lfs, then kegetys make a addon to momo wheel leds work on lfs...

how about wire leds on paralell port? we can wire about 8? or more led on printer port, more than enough to indicate, low fuel, handbrake, pit limit, etc...

who think it is a good idea?

Think its a good idea, think it will be allready done by someone. Would be really nice when you have a real BMW Sauber wheel, and then connect the LEDs/gauges on that wheel

How about wire about 30 leds through a USB port? But for anymore than about 5 leds, you'll need an external power supply.

Well, I guesed the LEDs would require 50mA. A USB port can only provide 5v, and 500mA. If you wired 10 of these LEDs, it might be too much. If you had two 50mA LEDs wired to a USB port, you would NEED to use a 12ohm resistor in the circuit.

i sugest parallel port because doesnt require any IC to make led work, only software, anyways, it was a idea

There was a mod for it, right?
Can´t find it.
Does anybody have it?
