I looked at it and thought 'a young person has descovered MS Paint and personalised their car.' This is all very well, but not a great example of a skin.

For me great skins either look like race cars (easy to do, just litter it with logo's that you can get by browsing to company websites) or feature some stunning piece of artwork that just makes you want to look at it and say "wow".

Nice work man, but you need to make the skinfile 1024 x 1024 so it has better resolution and quality. I would take the default skin from the CMX Viewer (1024 size) and work on that. Also try not to use MS Paint, it makes things blurry. Go and download Paint Shop Pro from Corel, that should get you started on a good skin

Skin looks alright But really need to get paint shop pro or something similar if you really want to get into skinning
Just remember when taking screen shots in cmx viewer to press "space"

You should be able to find a Paint Shop Pro demo on the Corel site somewhere. Likewise, a Photoshop demo on the Adobe website.

If the demos run out, or don't have enough options for you, there's always the free alternative; The GIMP. GIMP seems to be a popular alternative to those who do not want to spend hundreds on a paint program. I've never used it personally, but a lot of people seem to recommend it.
