I am having severe problems making sense of the precise process of of uploading hot laps, downloading setups and skins.
What "instructions" I can find are somewhat vague and assuming that everyone knows a certain amount about computers.
Would someone be so kind as to clarify, what page I start from etc, what button, etc.
I really do need spoonfeeding regarding doing these functions.
Please.

Further to the above, I tried to set a hot lap yesterday and from the Handbook I acted on the process which said I should hit the 1 key and this would automatically set a name for the hot lap.
It presented me at the top right hand of the Replay page with
peejayh_BL1_XFG_14348
I then went to the S2 Hotlaps page of LFS World and thence to the tab of Hotlap Charts.
Then it got a bit vague.
It didn't upload.
My hot lap is not uploaded in shining mediocrity for all to ridicule and I have nobody clamouring for my (non existent) setup!
Someone with a bit of sympathy and understanding for non technical nerks is needed please.

In the hotlap charts window there should be text field on the right. Click the button next to it, locate the replay file on your HD (it'll be in the "spr" folder), click ok and hit upload.

baloo, how precisely would I recognize a "replay file"?
For example, I saved a hot lap by pressing 1.
I found, on the replay page, a "title" showing peejayh_BL1_XFG_14356
Is that what you call the replay file.
There is nothing about spr in that is there.

if you can see the title in the single-player replays page a replay-file with the same name (+.spr file extension) has been saved to YOUR_LFS_FOLDER\data\spr on your harddisk.

The next step is to login (with your username, not as guest) at lfsworld.net. Then click the Icon saying "S2 Hotlaps" and in the appearing window change the tab to "Hotlap charts".

On the right you will find a button to "Browse" your hd for the spr file (same location I wrote above), then just hit "Upload". If it's a valid hotlap a new window should appear stating that it was added to the hotlap-chart.

In LFS' replay menu you won't see the .spr or .mpr file extensions because you don't need them. When you save a hotlap or an SP race it's saved in the spr folder anyway, similarly multiplayer replays are saved in the mpr folder in your main LFS folder.

Drive your hotlap
Press ESC
Press Replay (ensures it is saved)
Note the name down
Navigate to LFSW's HL upload page (see attached)
Press browse
Locate the spr folder (see attached)
Select correct file
Click OK
Click Upload
