Simply put, I have my PS3 hooked up to my monitor via a VGA box

Is there a way (apart from a camera), that I can capture the output when the box is set to the PS3 mode, or not?

I used to use a splitter (from 1 output to 2) then 1 to the TV and 1 to the capture card in my PC
