long run AI race
greetings,

the AI was set to race for 1000 laps on KY_gp_long.
everything went just fine.
Then the hibernation of my computer came for the night.
Next time i booted, the task was resumed, and unpaused to continue the 1k lap race.

strange things:

After some serious "hick-up" lfs continued it's work. (game froze for some seconds, sound repeated, as if things were loaded from HD, wich was pretty active during freeze time)
IF the lfs.exe isn't left "paused" and "suspended" (process explorer -sysinternals-) then after hibernation, it just locks the computer due to 'normal' priority and heavy workload for cpu and hd.
If lfs get's "late" it drops frames and tries to re-sync itself, this cannot be achieved within 1-2 minutes, i even left the system 'try' for half an hour.
as said before, this only happens if some AI were driving, and you wake your computer from hibernation.
Frame rates were restricted (but not set to) 32.0 or 64.0 fps, usually they are around 85.
AI doesn't respond to emptyness of the tank, any damges (flat tyres, body, suspension).
They don't pit anymore.
They keep driving until they are out of fuel.
"dragging" them to pits, and patch them up doesn't help.
They brake all the way, and don't re-ignite the engine to carry on...
they don't "reset" their car if crashlanded on the roof/side, what they usually do.

i know, the AI things are not major, but the programm things aren't minor either.

sincerly micha
Uhm you could speedhack LFS.exe 50x using CheatEngine so you wouldn't have need to hibernate.
öhm, nice, this way i don't need to fiddle with xx dedicated servers running one or two AI at different tracks...
thx shadowww
