I mentioned TC (traction control) , because I thought maybe the TC sound in CSR were overpowering the skids sounds.
I had that issue, I renamed a file in the CSR folder called CSR\Sounds\BF1\BF1_TC.wav
to something else like CSR\Sounds\BF1\BACKUP BF1_TC.wav
and the horrbile blasting sound stopped when i restarted CSR.
.....
Do you get proper skid sounds from LFS immediately after you close CSR?
A bunch of (11) blow off valve (dump valves) in WAV format that will work in CSR.
Note: Not my work, but a collection of various sounds I have found over these forums the last couple years. I was unable to find the original source packs. If the owners/creators PM me I will add credit in this post to them.
could anyone make the type of sound for LX6 that fxr has? the sound that fxr has in the all car pack is just amazing, but id like something like it for lx6 too
and if u feal like doing these sounds FXO sound to xrt too
It's friggin' hard to get it right. That meaty sound only comes when the skyline's rpms are winding up in the video, making it hard to grab a long enough sample to use in CSR - ughh.
Somewhat attempt at this that sounds okay----ish
The XRT doesn't rev as hard as a skyline, so when you match the rev pitch with CSR it sounds kinda dull. If it's not matched then it sounds like you're driving two cars at once. There are limits with what you can do with this program and LFS default cars.
IT's not a double post if you got a few days between imo.
Anyway, the latest version of LFS (Z28), has new outguage data, so some of the info is no longer compatible with CSR. Indicators don't work no more.
edit:
Engine sounds work
Backfires work
gear shifts work
drive train works
supercharger/turbo works
brake squeal works
road noise works
fuel warning works(?) check - yes this works
