While yeah, no one really cares about one guys first WR, pretty much every SO3 WR hits that wall. It's just how it's done. You can't beat the current WR doing it right.

That's not how its done at all, if you want to hit the wall then you'll get no respect for having it, thats just how it is, anyone within the community should know better.

Just because it's dishonest and cheap doesn't mean that's not how it's done. I haven't watched every single SO3 WR, but in all the ones I have seen the driver brakes waaaay to late, uses the wall to ditch speed and drives off to the finish.

I'm going to go and watch all the SO3 WRs now, should be fun.

EDIT: Seems I wasn't totally right. arrachee's, NickC's and Karolis's WRs seem to be "clean". Most of the other guys use the wall though.
