My girlfriends bro was round mine one day and he was like 'that looks cool, what is it?' so i told him and let him have a little go, he really liked it, so he downloaded it when he got home, bought an s1 license, and then about an hour later he went and got S2, then about a week later, there was a space going in our banger racing team which was consisted of me and jon606 at the time, and then someone else showed an interest as well, and so the 4 man team was born.
His younger brother then downloaded it about 2 days later, mainly because he wanted to copy i think, but he just kept with the demo and rarely goes online, if at all

Well that depends... was your convincing good alone to make them buy the game even if it sucked? Otherwise Scavier did the rest.
I got 1 friend to get the Demo, and he always said he will get s2 but never did 
Ask him once again and go on his nerves until he'll buy

I tend to buy people licenses. I have brought 3 in total now, mine my bro in laws and a friends. I refused to play them on demo with all the crashers, so I bit the bullet and brought them both S2's
