I don't think it will ever get 'REAL' sure the models of the cars can look real, but generally textures and thinks never look real because they aren't as random as they need to be.

That is true. You never know though, in the future there might be a way of making textures varying to environmental conditions, that would be cool. Like you say, things are too clean and consistent to be realistic. You never know though, one day when technology takes another leap?

Not sure, think I won mine actually, think it might be in Mazda dealership too, not sure tho.
As a counterpoint, the more we get used to edgy cinematography and post production (... oh I dunno... like Top Gear... pop music videos...) the easier it is for games to approach looking "real".

Improved my Tuned Z time, and left a bit of time on the table as well, but I figured that was enough for today.Thought I had maxed out all my improvements... rally flicking the car into the turns helps a lot, even if it's not exactly realistic for a slicked car...
Now to work on my Normal Z time and get it under 1:50. Although flicking the car doesn't work too well here!

Yea, i saw them yesterday and could've post them, but what's the point, a quality picture of slim PS3 and a huge Bravia.. nothing on it we already haven't saw on GT5..

On a serious note, it's not really that surprising. I'm not sure were they ever really planning for a march release anyway. There would have been much more screenshots and ads in japanese media by now if they would have been serious about it. I'm guessing the march "release" date was simply a PR stunt.

By the time this game is released, all the cars in the game are going to be dated. Unless PD delayed it to include all the recently released cars.
Loool! I will put my money on LFS. By that I mean the Scirocco + Tyre physics, not S3. S3 will be released when GT6 and Forza 10 is out.
Well ofcourse it's delayed when crazy f*cks have thought only couple of months ago to work on the damage, offcourse they are not satisfited with it curently so they are continuing the work on it.. Pretentious japanese, they thought "we don't need damage, we are Gran Turismo!2!1!"

The standard Xbox 45.6billion (they cant go 1, 2, cos doesnt sound superior to Sony's common-sense approach) version of which is just a cardboard retail box, you buy the contents additionally. DVD drive at £120, graphics card at £550, USB connections at £25 a peice for the controllers.
Sony will have played it safe, expanding upon the PS3s multi-purpose nature, the PS4 will have an alarm clock, food blender, microwave oven, shoe polisher, and power shower. It'll cost £5k, but the execs need to get into those markets and afterall, it only does everything.
5yrs later, just as the EU release of GT6 is on the horizon and S3 gets another meaningless update (accurately threaded wheel nuts, if you must know!) even though scawen hasnt realised nobody has played LFS for 18 months, Microsoft will announce they're going to retrospectively give customers the cables to connect all the overpriced junk they were forced to purchase, rather than continue selling something that they knew doesnt work when they had the idea 'i know, lets make a new XBox' back in 2007.
Due to the nature of the entry level xbox, designers will have to ensure every game can at least work on an etch-a-sketch, developers will be so lazy they wont even port games over to the PS4, they'll just get a marker pen and write PLAYSTATION FOOR GAME on the boxes.

Cracked 1:50 on the Normal Z and about time! It wasn't a good lap either. I have plenty in me on both cars, so I just might crack the top 100!
At least I beat Kaz on the Tuned Z, and not far off the normal one
