Well, some of u already know mates@track (since S1) and
mates@track II beta (since S2).

Now, mates@track ng arrives...

mates@track ng, short m@t ng, is the derivative of those previous
applications and is now more functional!

It not only contains a server browser (as in the m@t II version), but also
the well know mate-list and player list.
So u can define differnt mates (buddys) in differnt groups, know by
ICQ, and join them, if they are online! Just with some clicks.
But not only joining on servers with mates on it is possible. No, you can
also join any server u like! Just double click it...

mates@track ng has also an application launcher, which launches
different application before LFS starts... (not available atm, but soon there)
So it's easy to use MODs like PitSpotter, SmokeMOD and so on...

nearly perfect

or the former hysteria about not beeing able to use the old m@t was miss

I think it work perfect good work

It does appear to work but why the limit to two people added? It makes it of very little practical use in its current state.

maybe I should tell you, which things are important for testing:
- moving mates from one group to another (for now with drag&drop)
- adding/deleting groups & mates (well, only 2 but look if there might be somthing wrong)
- importing old mates@track & mates@track II groups (*.profile)
- joining via server-/player-/mate-list
- password storage
- update checker (well, only neccesary when i release the next version and that's very soon )
- sorting of lists
- and soon the app launcher (will be there in the next demo version)

and of course i need response and ideas for new or missing features!

let me know if u need something for testing (old mates@track groups, etc.)

after the tests are done, I can release the full version...

me is not here to clear this up, i only create a piece of software!

i see that many people can't differ between demo and full...

so it was my fault, releasing m@t ng to early...

The program seems to run ok, the only flaw is in design, i think..
look for the attached pic, i make some suggestions, maybe help.

Another thing, when run m&t and press print screen button i get an matesATtrackNG.exe error :S

again.. sry for my english.

I have problems with importing M@T2 .profile files.
Import was without any error messages, but I cannot see my imported groups and mates, there is still empty Group #1 and #2. But i can see Mates online 0/143 info text and my mates on some server, "occ. with mates" is working.

because of the 2 groups and 2 mates restriction in the demo, you have to
delete the other empty groups before importing the profile!
but to be clear. the import has worked, it's only not be shown!
occ. with mates workes, because of testing purpose!

I agree with dEiCidE, contextual menus will be much better than loads of buttons.

EDIT: when you order server list by ply for examle, appl forget this after filter change or refresh. I got error 00549239 / 00000024, afterwards JPEG-Fehler #42 when alt-tab to other appl.

maybe i increase also the number of mates...so u can test much better
