GTAL 2010 : E-Team provisionnal champion for the second time in a row !
Last race of Grand Touring Amateur League 2010 took place at Kyoto National for a 12 hours races ! E-Team was still fighting for the championship 43.5pts behind 7karat and few points ahead of SR, sa and Deadline !

This season was quite difficult and E-Team have alternated good and bad. Indeed E-Team finished 18th of the first race run by Ludovic Le Henaff and benjamin Whitcher after an anonymous race ! In Round 2 Pierre Peron and Fabrice Bankhauser have done a great job and with some luck they manage to complete a wondeful 4th positon. But another time things went wrong and Pierre Peron and Sean Williams can't make better than a 12th position. Round 4 was the first long race and the wake up of the running champion ! Indeed Pierre Peron have done the pole position and at the middle of the race E-Team was leading the race ! Unfortunately an incident while we were lapping a car unable us to make better than 5th but E-Team was back in 3rd position in points ! After the withdrawing of Triple7Racing which were leading the championship, everything was still possible but E-Team dropped to 6th post after another fail at fern Bay with our first DNF of our history in GTAL. The penultimate round was quite more successful and whereas our #1 FZR started last, Sean Williams and Fabrice Bankhauser manage to catch the 2nd place thanks to an awesome job from the young british ! So such was the situation before the last round of GTAL 2010 where E-Team can keep his trophy !

Pierre Peron, Sean Williams and Fabrice Bankhauser race for E-Team for this last round. They were helped by Tommy Ostgaard who already raced and win with triple7racing and Legends Racing Team in GTAL 2010. Pierre Peron unfortunately failed in qualifying whereas the pole was possible, anyway E-Team started 6th of an amazing race !

Indeed after few minutes, whereas he avoided the wreck of T2, fabrice bankhauser was involved in a racing incident with...7karat ! Both driver, which were fighting for championship, didn't want to lose any position which result of a contact. E-Team dropped to 21th whereas 7Karat lost a lap few minutes later with another crash with Deadline. After two hours of a fantastic job in these difficult condtions (22km/h wind) the frenchman was back in top 10 and finally give his car after more than 2h05 to Tommy. Tommy manage to catch top 5 when a safety car come out ! it enable us to catch the podium and then be 1st at the 4 hours mark. After another stint from Fabrice bankhauser, it was Sean Williams's turn with another double stint. Top 4 was still in less than 30s when another pace car come after 5h47 of great racing ! It was now the time for strategy and E-team was the only one to stay on track to hold the strategy which was planned. Finally E-Team restarted 1st and 15 minutes later, Sean Williams pitted. E-team leaded all hours mark but things were hard because Conquest racing took a strong lead making an huge gap, CoRe were just behind us and SR were still 30s whereas the were catching the normal stratgey. But at about 3 hours to go, 7Karat which were back to the top unfortunately loose many times in pit, dropping into 12th position ! Championship was now for the best finisher between E-team and SR ! After a great work of Pierre Peron and Sean Williams, the gap was nearly 20s when Tommy Ostgaard join to finish the race ! He manage to catch a bit SR by staying a few more laps on track before pitting, gap was now 15s and boothy have some bad time with the wind and his suspension whereas Tommy run quite fast ! And 15 minutes before the checkered flag, whereas CoRe which overtook us before having a puncture was still in our rear bumper, Tommy Ostgaard catch Michael Booth ! After a nice pass on the exterior line in Turn 5, the SR driver miss his break point in next turn and hit our car without any damage and consequence. But the race wasn't finish ! At this moment E-Team was champion ! in a 2nd place but CoRe was still pushing ! and #34 Epic racing made an error just in front of Tommy who immediatly spin without an major consequences : only a nice 360° but 2nd position was lost at 7 minutes to go !

But the driver from norway friendly called Toastgaard by the community haven't said yet his last word and thanks to several lapped car, he catch CoRe and overtake them for 2nd position...in last lap !

So finally after that epic race, E-Team finish 2nd behind Conquest Racing (gratz !). CoRe is 3rd, SR 4th and 7Karat 11th ! That mean that E-Team is (provisionnal) champion of GTAL 2010 for the second time in a row after the trophy won last season !

E-Team gonna be back in 2011 with the #1 on the noise !

LFS France ligue FR : Vallée and Bankhauser for round 1 !
After some server failing two weeks ago, 1st round of LFS france league took place last Tuesday. 4 drivers from E-Team were racing with the UF1 at AS1. The grid was the reverse of the prequaly result so Sean Williams started 2nd, Morgan Trollé 6th, Fabrice Bankhauser 7th and Nicolas Vallée 13th. Our drivers were on different strategy with the mandatory pitstop : Nicolas Vallée and Trollé pitted early whereas Bankhauser and Williams pitted later. Morgan Trollé lost some time by missing the pit stop and enable Nicolas Vallée and Eric Bitan from RENESIS to overtake him. Sean Williams and Fabrice Bankhauser were leading the race after 5laps with a nice gap with R4R dot. After half an hour, Morgan Trollé was catched by R4R Aerox with who he fight during several laps loosing lot of time. When Sean Williams pitted, he restarted side by side with Eric Bitan who have passed Vallée. Bankhauser pitted few laps after that and restarted behind Vallée who had just overtake Bitan and Williams who were still fighting for position. It was harder for Trollé who was involved in a big fight for 6th position. At 10 minutes to go, Worm was leading for RENESIS but don't have done his pitstop yet. Anyway vallée won the race, Bankhauser finished 2nd. Sean Williams loose several position and finally get 8th and Trollé 10th. So finally all E-Team drivers finished into the top 10. In championship standings, the same number of points are scored for preuali and race, so Worm is leading ex-aequo with R4R Aerox, Vallée is 3rd. In Team championship, E-Team is only 2pts behind RENESIS.
