Because the moderator probably thought it would end up in flamewar, which he might just have been right in reading the first comment.

Though, a simple airfield is a nice idea though, could indeed be interesting for layouts and more, but one thing it doesn't do, is reduce the waiting, since no1 yet has managed to create a track for LFS except for Eric.

same reason as this thread.
