didnt work it made the same thinq pop up...but this time faster then before...can there be anythinq else ?

Uhm i dont understand what your sayinq ?

I take it you don't know what graphics driver and DirectX are, right? Have you reinstalled Windows recently? Do you know what hardware is in your PC? Is it branded or a custom-built one?

this worked for me...in your cfg file, there is your screen settings which must have been set wrong somehow....so erase everything in your main lfs folder that has the letters CFG in that order next to each other.

actually just get rid of card_cfg.txt, cfg.txt, and interface_cfg.txt

It's impossible to tell from the info he's provided so far, but judging by his clean desktop and no apparent background tasks in the tray I reckon he reinstalled Windows and forgot to install drivers. LFS will give you exactly this error when no graphics driver with 3D acceleration support is present. No Aero in Win supports my theory too.
Can anyone using Win7 suggest him an easiest way how to check what graphics card he has?

right click when on your desktop, and select either the Catalist control panel, or the nvidia control panel.

Not if he hasn't installed graphics drivers...

Try DxDiag, in the Display tab.

i have a custom built pc nd i didnt re-install anythinq

Did it work before? Do you know the hardware configuration of your PC? I've never experienced it myself, but it might be possible that the anti-piracy system locked out the 3D acceleration.

What is the make and model of your motherboard?


Download the intel embedded graphics driver

Start here and fill in the correct selection boxes for your hardware

In your pic it says "standard VGA graphics adaptor" this should change.

i downloaded the gfx driver 10.3 gold relase but it said i already had it but reinstalled it anyways tried it and said the same thinq...now ima reinstall the game to see if its that !
