There is a guy at demo impersonating as Chudy_2001. His username is Chudy_2OO1, but in game 0 and O look the same and everyone think he is the real Chudy. He is also using his skins and message shortcuts. He is sending keygens and hacks to everyone.

I doubt this guy is an active poster there. If he's rambling over demo servers while doing cheap stuff, then it means he's very probably not an S2 licensed user(at least not a regular one). And in fact, there's not so much demo users posting actively there.

And anyway, no worries - I'm sure that the IP check was one of the first thing the mod who banned him has done.

That's not the point. He's giving out a tweak version working for demo(which is no-go AFAIK). And he's pretending to be someone he is not.

True, but Developers don't care about cheaters, there are a few in the community, and they got away with it, so just let them carry on, it's not effecting us until they come onto one of our servers and then we just ban them, as for him impersonating someone, he's not, his name is Chudy_2OO9, which is different to Chudy_2009 unless he's doing something other than just using a similar name.

IMO it is clear that he was trying to impersonate the "other" Chudy: as mentionned someone else in this thread, "O" and "0" looks exactly the same in-game.

Of course, I wasn't on the server so I don't know what he was actually doing.

But let's not argue on that: as you said, this kind of stuff won't affrect much people in the end, as it's easy to ban 999 those silly people once they get spotted

I don't see how cheaters are a problem for LFS.
They make me laugh, and if an admin sees them, they get banned, and won't be remembered for long. Nothing to worry about, imo.

Going back to Chudy_2oo1, real Chudy_2001 was banned for link posted by Chudy_2oo1.
Maybe devs should ban Chudy_2oo1 in world of LFS? (not only the forum but on servers too!)

Nope they only ban people in-game who spam on the forum, they ban you for 999 days, hacking the forum and hacking the game is ok though, since those people wasn't banned, let this be a lesson to us all

And the clone of Chudy is sending to ppl keygens and hacks for game. I heard it's illegal but I see it is 100% legal. If it isn't legal why the clone isn't banned.

In offence, real Chudy is not sending anything to ppl. Every hack he made is used only by himself.

Well the devs have no proof of him sending keygens etc, oh and people using exploits in the past have not been banned so it's ok.

Hopefully in a few years time, the devs can patch these.
