MD5 and SHA1 (which SMF uses, making it slightly more secure than phpbb btw :razz are both secure enough for your average forum, especially since as you correctly stated, people shouldn't use the same password for different sites. But even more secure algorithms, like the SHA2-family, can be implemented in JS and there are open source implementations available. In other words, if you'd want to go for "beyond reasonable" security, use SHA256 and encrypt client-side.
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.
That error is caused because the cookies aren't stored on the new domain. If you refresh you should be able to get on... But you'll get logged out all the time because cookies aren't being saved.
Wait what? There are only 3 shops, which are ran by members of the forum. Not everyone has their own shop? Obviously as with real life, there are different shops that will charge different amounts of money for the same part... Second, yes, members judge races, but they're race judges, trained to do so... What is the problem? They didn't reset all the memberships either... Get your facts straight and stop posting nonesense.
I think you should get your facts straight. I said "when I went on 1.5 years ago". Maybe it's changed now; I don't know, i don't use it. And yes they did reset the memberships, they sent an email saying if you don't sign on in the next X days, we're deleted your account. Furthermore I said "and I was like..." meaning, this is how it appeared to me. Or are we not allowed opinions around here either? Last time i went on, it was the way i described, end of. And I'm quite sure I've been around the pixel car scene, a lot longer than you.
Why are so many people on this forum so god damn pedantic. It's not a nice place to be. And i know for a fact I'm not the only person who thinks this.
BTW...
I am aware of the error thanks, i've contacted technical support and they're fixing it. The page still loads if press Ctrl-F5.
