They aren't wheels, but tyres. From memory they are demo tyres to show how some new tyre tech works which means you never get a puncher, because they don't use air to stay inflated (hence the side walls cut off). Michelin did something similar a few years back.

Anyway lets not forget the puma wheels, not the best looking imo

All the Puma fans seem to love those propeller wheels... Never saw the appeal myself, always preferred the 9(?)-spoke ones mine had.

I would never have seriously considered that something as insignificant as rims could ruin an amazing feat of engineering like the Veyron, but bloody hell it looks awful with those! Stand out like a sore thumb :scared:
