This is a bit of a weird question I know, but someone here might know the answer.

I'm building a pc in an xbox case and plan to use the original xbox power and reset buttons. However the power switch connector is obviously the xbox motherboard type, not pc mobo type. So I wonder if I can buy the connectors which plug into the pc motherboard pins for power, reset, power led and hdd led. Then I'll just rewire the xbox wires into these plugs.

Does anyone know where I can buy these? Thanks.

Or if anyone has any other suggestions on how to do it I'm open to ideas

Strip off the Xbox connectors and solder the wires to the corresponding pins.

Or, find some wire of the proper gauge to fit snugly in the connectors and wrap the other ends around the corresponding pins.

I like the 2nd idea. Maybe combine it with the first so the wires are soldered to the pins, the fit in the xbox connector.

I thought of soldering the wires to the pins but thats quite a permanent fixture lol. I guess it wouldnt really be a problem as im unlikely to change the mobo that often, if at all.
