Since my old Formula Force EX is broken I got a F430 for christmas and now I've got a small question:

I'd like to link some of the Buttons to my F-keys (F9, F10, F11) - can't figure out a way through the control panel (there is no such thing) nor through LFS options - am I blind or is it not possible?

Ye, its possible. Just go into options/controls. Click on ALT + or CTRL +. First assign a wheel button, then beside it to the left type /press F9 or F10, F11, etc. You could do this with any other command to. Say you wanted to turn the lights on with a wheel button. You would assign a wheel button and beside it type /press 3.
thank you very much
I've got another (small) problem - I have trouble going a straight line because the centering springs (? thats what it was called on my formula force EX) don't apply (enaugh) force when the wheel is nearly centered and its also a bit unsteady in that posission (if u steer and then let the wheel go it centers itself naturally) - is there anything I can do about it?

Nothing you can do about that, I have the same thing with my G25, apparently logitech was trying to fix or do somthing when they made that low force zone, but obviously they failed, I'm not positive, but I think I remember reading about it on this forum some time ago.

the dead zone in G25 is because the force feeback. If you don't have that dead zone each FFB motors will be working 100% of the time against the other one. Fanatec consider their motors are able to do such effort while Logitech (and I supposse many others) don't want to take that risk.
