Which chicane are you all talking about... the first after T1 or the one after, going uphill?

(And I need a setup... The car just can't beat it... lol.)
I would guess, the 1st one.

Dont say, you brake for the 2nd chicane.
you only have to brake 2 places, and the rest is flat out. the chicane is flat even on the 1st lap.
i did 1:00.78 with my mouse but in longer runs mouse wears the tyres a bit too much!

lol, ok 1st... *phew*... 'cause anybody who takes 2nd chicane lower than 6th gear illepall

1:00.78 with a mouse!!! OMFG
I saw him do a 1m00.9x on lap 2 with a mouse. I was sitting next to him. He funs a silly, huge FOV and forces view, but it's quite clear he is mental.

Hey, David, glad you're enjoying Club FOX. I think I drove a few races with you last night.

While we're discussing this combo: did anyone else get a serious improvement in their lap times post-patch? I'm still not exactly fast here, and only cracked the 1:02 barrier last night, but pre-patch I was struggling to crack 1:03. Is it just me or does the new physics make the FOX inherently a lot quicker around AS club?

The FOX has generally become faster (easier to control), so the lap times are/should be lower on every track.
With patch U10 my speedo now reads 142 instead of 141 at the end of the straight.. but my laptimes are the same.

Although I did just beat my PB so who knows

I think I just got better at the last corner? Atleast that's how I like to think about it..

1:00:64 weeeeeeeeee
never used this config

speedo nows shows how fast the wheels are turning, 30 mph drift could be 70 mph
the wheels wouldnt be spinning at 141mph. i think its because setups use less wing because of the new grip, and also setups are just better.

No, you fool! Slip ratios mean the speedo will ALWAYS be over-reading, even when flat out or not accelerating at any speed (so long as you are applying some throttle). Think, when using TC set to say, 5%, and TC is working, you know your speedo is over-reading by exactly 5%. Otherwise it's guesswork.

Wheelspin is merely a large (visible) slip ratio.
Wheelspin can be defined as any slip ratio greater than optimum, but is usually the point at which it's visible, or causes a lack of lateral stability (i.e. a big drift).
