Hello all,

I have recently had to give up karting due to excessive expenses as well as college starting and not being able to do both. I was iracing for some time but that got boring fast especially at how structured everything is. Sometimes its just like wtf i want to just race already!

Anyways i was wondering if there is any oval racing going on in S2 servers?
How about touring cars? Is it called the gtr class? if so is there alot of that?
Also is there always people online to race with?

Im debating if i should finally purchase S2 or not?

Rarely, sometimes I see a server usage spike but it's no usual business.

In case you are at the east coast, yes. West coast might be OK too, depends.

you need to have a good ping / reliable connection to Europe.

Not enough people in S2 as there are in demo?

I think most of the time demo numbers are higher nowadays. Oval racing now is almost exclusive to leagues and touring car/GTR is limited to about 2 decently populated servers. League based however...

When I first bought LFS I was vaguely disappointed that the number of demo racers online at any one time is roughly equal to the number of licensed users online. A lot of the experienced guys will be preparing for league races on private servers. There are relatively few 'pick-up' racing servers, but the ones that exist are well populated and well-structured (Cargame etc).
There are some good open wheel leagues (OWRL for example), endurance leagues (GTAL and IGTC). New Dimension Racing is one of the busiest league organisers (newdimensionracing.com) North Americans are a little under represented on LFS with few leagues being geared for the time zones.
Oval racing on LFS is frankly pretty sketchy. The past few big oval events have been crash filled.
That being said, I don't regret the money spent on LFS, and I mostly enjoy my time on the servers.

So i went on at about 9pm for some lfsing and was very disappointed that there was 3 lfs s2 servers with about 4 people in them. The people were not even racing. The best racing server was gti racing which was the xfg @ blackwood 12 out of 12 slots on demo. wtf where is the lfsers!!!

LFS is mostly European based.

We also are in a testpatch time, whitch means many forumers are running testpatch A3 while the others remain on Z28.
Unfortunately these are not compatible, so it spreads the (meager in your timezone) community.
Fortunately it gives us a wonderful opportunity, testing the new features and discussing them on the testpatch forum.

if you like oval look out for the fm oval servers and mrc oval and dui oval they usually have people in,but if you find theres no-one on any oval servers still go on the track and after 10-20 min people will notice thats someones on oval an will join you ,i do it that way most of time,most people see theres no1 on them and dont bother but if they see 1 person then its a race and then next person sees theres a duo so join and so on,hopefully see you on oval,have fun and welcome to s2 dude

It's still a test patch, so not at the moment.

as flame said because its a test patch there isnt hardly any,,if you would like some oval racing contact me on here and il arrange with a few of the guys some racing,oval is my main track for racing and can be fun

(FM) Oval Junkies is pretty active on the oval with GTR's, FZR mostly, also XRR and FXR. Up to May 10-20 drivers were constantly active evry evening since January.

Bit slower at the moment, but join the server and you will find others drivers joining very soon, like myself.

yeah i agree,i know that a few of the racers chk to see if anyones on oval through lfsworld and if see theres no-one on there they dont bother,which isnt good,recently its been more f08 and bf1 and F0X used on fm oval but normally is the gtr classes
