Electric is the way to go defo if you're a beginner and into drifting. I got a Nitro 3 Evo as a first car and I've smashed it twice lol, rebuilding the front is an easy job though. They usually give you extra plastic parts with the car so in case you should crash it, you could repair it easily. Ofcourse once you've got the car you have to break it in and adjust the engine fuel needles.

Unless you do what I did - buy a nitro car, drive it around for awhile and then stick dori tyres onto it... FUNFUNFUN.

yeah i might just get a cheap electric one.i was on formulaD round 4 about 2 weeks ago and they were selling them i guess,and also had a little drifttrack u could play.i was just watching but it looked fun do u know a good website i could get it? coz on hpi u cant find where to buy,all i get is sponsored hobby shop lists

funny i just got an email from hpi,they got a new drift kit called sprint 2 sport(electric,waterproof) and it looks pretty sweet.i cant find where to buy on there.i can buy parts but not the kit? that would be stupid. halp !

You mean Sprint 2 Drift? Sprint 2 Sport is meant for road racing.

I bought them 2nd hand and 2 of them have to be straighten out,it not noticeable but you can feel it on high speed... they look good though on the car.
