Team Rock Racing have been going through some changed lately.

That's why we have assigned our best member to the job of Co-Leader, and that member is:

The 15 year old Rik Kardol / Rik97. With his 6-to-8 months he is in the team now. He has impressed us by his skill, mental strenght and kindness. Also showing of good results in our championship. He is just a good kid, and really likes our team, so we decided to give him this chance!

He will be assigned moderator status on our own forum, server admin on our public server, and most of all, he gets a vote in deciding who joins the team. (This means I'm now not the only one having to approve a membership.)

We wish him good luck with his new job.


In other news:
Omgin - Oscar Arslan
Inouva - Emma R.
Willeh - William Trentini

Have joined our team! Omgin and Willeh have shown great skills already in our championship. As however, Inouva shows them on the Cargame S2 server.

We are really sure these 3 drivers are a good decision for our team.


We also accepted a trial member:
j0rdan - Jordan Lavrikov

He will be tested the upcoming month. After this month Rik and me will decide if he can stay with us.

Dear Readers

After a 2 week period of trial membership, we have recruited the 16-year old Estonian, Jordan Lavrikov to our team.

He will be driving for us with number #72 with blue mirrors. He will use the nickname j0rdan.


After his impressive performance in our league race yesterday, and his great behaviour, and professional mind, all of the 3 leaders of Team Rock Racing said a full YES to his recruitment. He will also directly get a special place within the team....

We've seen he has the ability to train other drivers, on how to drive combo's, so we will put him in the place as Trainer. (We fire VinnyLegends from this place)

Also on the past few days we have kicked the following members from our team though to inactivity:

And as latest news we can confirm to our members, that we are about to RE-introduce team training!

We will be doing a 1,5 hour training session on every Wednesday from now on. Starting from 20:15 till 21:30, will consist out of a 30 minutes practise session, where Rocky7up and j0rdan will be teaching our drivers, this part is essential to attend to (for our members.) Followed at 21:05 by a 10 minute qualification, and then at 21:20 a 8 lap race.

It is a photo contest, where you have to make an own photo of one or multiple of your scale-models, where there is a specific topic. For example "Crash-scene" or "Blue". You should then make a photo of one of your scale-models within the context of the topic.

At the end of every month, the forum members get to vote on 3 members via a top 3. 1st is 5 points, 2nd is 3 points, and 3rd is 1 point. Then after the month is over, the votes will be counted, and there will be a winner. Every month winner, receives a free scale-model sponsored by our sponsors.

Dear Readers,

After weeks of thinking about it, and considering other options, I sadly have to announce that Team Rock Racing is no more. After years of trying my best in hosting a team, and organizing events, which I have enjoyed, I think it's time to move on. I now have the chance to live on myself, start a real life, and have a job and I have accepted this.

It's not that I really wanted to stop the team, but in my new situation, I just have few time left, and if I'm gaming, I want to spent this in another way, not whilst organising events, hosting a big team, and keeping partnerships with loads of sponsors.

I now want to focus on a small team, with good friends, with which I'm going to attend to some events, and this is not with Team Rock Racing. Details on the new team will follow later.

This also means that this website is going to end at the end of 2011.

Also of course the end of our long running championship. To finish it in style, there will be a final race:
Round 21: Saturday the 5th of November 2011: LX4 @ KY2R
It will start at 20:00 German time.

I would have closed the sections that I can't do any more then close the hole team. However I say good luck in the future.

What about continuing -TRR- but ONLY to organise events? Like an events organising club, whilst everyone has other teams ofc, not a team, just a club of organisors.

Anyone think thats a good idea?

That way I could maybe keep some of the sponsors, and organise new events in 2012.
