Did some races today in the FZR and FXR on Aston and BL. When I used my wheel it felt like I was going to break my thumbs because of the movement of the wheel due to Force Feedback (without it I can't 'feel' the car).
Got really bad when I was in the FXR on Blackwood, all the sudden the wheel would just start shaking heavily when going flat-out or braking. I couldn't keep the wheel stationary because of the power used to move it (FF set to 85). I had some problems with this before (a week ago or so..., before any test patch) but not anywhere near this strength.
My thumbs still hurt like hell even though it's been like two and a half hours since I last raced. Maybe I should add a deadzone near the center to get rid of this stuff.
While I'm on the subject, I have a problem with the control of the car since I installed the test-patches, I get massive understeer on the low-power cars, even at low speeds, making me very slow. All the high power cars is giving me a great deal of oversteer no matter what speed I'm at, also have a lot of trouble regaining control of the car once it oversteers, it's like when driving with a keyboard without actually paying attention to what you are doing.
Maybe a sign that the wheel is giving up? It's like six years old now. Considering how stuff breaks for me it's surprising that it has held for so long without breaking (actually it is the only piece of hardware that still works and haven't been replaced in my house...)
