The only server I've seen is your oval server, which - even for an oval server - I thought was awful. So bad, I recall saying that it "wasn't even like playing LFS". So I voted that "I don't like the community".

I don't know the drivers, but bumped into Jambo on the banger racing server a week or so ago and found him taking it all too seriously. When I suggested we collectively mug him I got a bunch of verbal abuse from him, so: "I don't like the drivers".

The TeamName comes from another game in which the clan participates (Quake 3), but the clan also has teams for LFS, Quake 4, CounterStrike, World Of Warcraft etc........

The name has just been used for all games

I wasn't fishing for compliments, I really wanted an honest opionion, and it has gone the way I expected it to, a few people dislike the drivers, most people think it's only an oval team, where as in truth several drivers don't go near the oval in a single seater anymore, and alot of people know nothing about the community behind the team, such as the ventrillo server which makes racing so much more interesting, being able to chat with the other racers while racing.....

More seriously, who knows anything about MRNL either? We've been going over 3 years and are unknown outside the Dutch LFS community.

the most useless thread i have ever seen besides that only those who dont know us at all or those who got problems with some of our drivers post here. And thor i allready told you that in our forum so u do not understand why you do something like this? And if you expected reactions like that its even more confusing for me.

You do something and there are allways some who likes it or dislikes it no mater how much you improve it or whatever. Thats the way it goes. Would be boring if everybody would do the same things, eat the same things, have the same clothes and so on. We allready had something like that in the past (40-50 years ago) and see thankfully it did not work.

Hey, don't sell yourselves short Bob. MRNL is well known by people who have been around for a while. Even The Floating Widget has some notoriety.

Well from my time's with [FM] i would have to vote for the option " I dont like the community, but i like SOME of the driver's. TBH, some of you guy's act like you rule the world! It seem's that you dont like to be disagreed with and anyone who come's to your forum and complains about being banned or whatever, they get the same old answer" its our server, if you dont like it **** off". IMo, the server is the most poorly ran server in all of LFS, even with a admin there almost 24/7. The server mods are annoying to say the least, and the constant spamming is the worst thing i have ever seen. I have also joined the vent channel a couple of time's a while back and can honestly say that the FM channel is the very reason i deleted the program. There is a couple i really enjoy racing with though, Queensheet(spelling? and im not sure if he is even a part of the community) is a awesome guy to race with, fair, clean driver and fast everywhere he goes it seems. There are a couple more that are really fun to race with, but names are escaping me right now, and im not sure if they are even a part of the community anymore.

I only see the odd driver on non oval configs, the couple I have met online have seemed polite, however I think the teams public relations and forum posting attitude could be improved.

Sometimes a few of you can come across very aggressive and don't look at other peoples point of views, often with silly arguments.

I disagree (along with many others) with the way you run your Oval server, but you say it promotes better racing. That's your opinion and I respect it.

I don't like how you have to sign up to view your website, although the layout seems clean and user friendly.

Theirs is possibly one of the worst oval servers i have raced in, as people are banned for crashes they do not cause, and if an admin spins the whole race is restarted.
