US Elections 2012
US elections? Why?
Why, well the Olympics are over and this is more fun than the cartoon network or comedy central.
Just a quick recap for everyone who isn't keeping up.

Obama - Still no actual birth certificate. Yes, wild theory but still unfortunatly true. Claim's to be born in Hawaii, Here's the first lady stating he was born in Kenya. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk3OMRqO7aY
Want's to block the military from voting ( http://thetandd.com/politicalp ... e1-8e4c-001a4bcf887a.html ) but want's illegal aliens to have the vote ( http://miamiherald.typepad.com ... ncitizen-voter-purge.html )

Romney - Well, lets start with massive election fraud to get the nomination, ( http://www.dailypaul.com/23949 ... tched-tonight-drkrbn-live )
We then, even ignoring his stupid comments, can move to the fact that he has excluded himself by committing the crime of foreign funding of his campaign, a felony offence in the US. ( http://www.veteranstoday.com/2 ... ey-from-presidential-bid/ )

Then of course you have the rigged voting machines ( http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories ... -call-it-vote-rigging.htm )

Do feel free to disagree with facts here, or find more evidence yourselves.

As I said, this leaves comedy central looking fairly boring.
I'm sure that the next few months will provide the rest of the world with an entertaining collection of lies, mistruths, and I expect outright fraud.

"Go Land of the Fee"
I think he is reptilian.

There's a republican in the Election - how hard is it to choose?
I like those guys in GTA IV who stand on the street and yell about reptilian death rays.
President Obama is the first and only commander-in-chief in the history of the republic to petition a federal court with a claim that allowing the men and women who serve under his command three extra days to vote in-person by absentee ballot is a violation of the Constitution.

The former constitutional law professor’s campaign has brought suit and filed a formal legal complaint with a federal judge in the key swing state of Ohio that asserts there is no “legitimate justification” for giving members of the military extra time for early voting. In that same complaint, the president’s campaign argues at least 20 times that the Ohio legislature had no good reason to extend reasonable voting accommodations to military voters and that the law is unconstitutional.

Quote :These statements concern a lawsuit that Democrats filed against Ohio’s secretary of state and attorney general to stop a new law that pushes the state’s early voting deadline back by three days for everyone except military personnel and their families. The measure, which was passed by a Republican-controlled legislature in 2011, changed a previously uniform deadline for all residents of the Buckeye State.

Ohio is a closely contested battleground state where the presidential candidates need every vote they can get to win the 2012 election. The state went to Barack Obama in 2008, with more than 1.4 million Ohio voters casting their ballots early, according to the United States Election Project of George Mason University.[/b]

And it goes on with some more analysis.

So, essentially, Ohio's Republican-controlled state congress decided to change voting laws in the wake of Obama's election to make it more difficult for everyone except military members to vote. Obama's campaign unsurprisingly doesn't like this.

The Washington Times is a known right-wing mouthpiece, btw.

My thoughts exactly

Oh, and thanks CSF for brightening my day with that video
....New Zealand's a state?
Gee cousin, don't you have a nation full of scumbag politicians in your own country to go off about?
Oh... Here's a new conspiracy for you. I know you love these things.
There was a second shooter in Aurora, Colo.
It was a plan set in motion by Holden as attempt to get gun control restrictions started after the Fast and Furious Fiasco.

There are no new conspiracies for racer_nzxczzx. He knows them all.
This is actually what I imagine Racer X looks like.

I just figured I'd drop this here as I really don't have anything to say about it.

I had to put it in a tinyURL because the forum censored out a part of the URL for racial language
Toure's kind of awful but he's right here.
I will say that this is going to be one of the dirtiest US elections in a while. This has been very dirty already... Issues are less of an issue than personal attacks at this point in the race. I'm already ignoring the personal attacks and I'm just going to focus on the issues in selecting my vote. It's still up in the air (my vote that is)

MSNBC is a left leaning media typically, not as bad as FOX in the other dirction though

Awww..... Don't do that. The only issues these clowns have are Personal Issues.
Besides, personal attacks are their strong points.
LOL !!!
And here's my opinion of most americans !

But, attempting to avoid the bitchfest that usually happens here, can anyone actually explain any meaningful differences between the two parties, as they are rightwing and crazy rightwing.
Both seem determind to invade the rest of the world, tell the rest of us what we must do, screw the american people, distroy the constitution, let bankers get away with any crime they commit, and compete to see who is REDUCTED best friend and give them the most money, military aid and support whatever they do.

If america stayed at home then there would be no interest, as america seems detirmined to be the next world empire the rest of us are free to express an opinion.

I'm sure you already know what the stated differences of the two parties are. Drop the playacting.
Democrats are generally more liberal while republicans are generally more conservative. Obama's healthcare plan was disputed by a lot of people because they thought it was very radical. This is an example of liberalism. Republicans on the other hand would rather people organize and find healthcare for themselves and not force people to be obliged to any sort of policy, which many argue is more constitional than Obama's idea.

Simple enough?

edit: this is directed at Racer X, didnt see Ben's post while i was writing mine, also, atleast we dont refer to our selves as kiwis (who calls their people after a bird).

He is right that both of the parties are extremely right wing. Of the political parties in the UK, the Tories are clearly the most right wing of the mainstream, yet they are absolutely nowhere near as far right as even the Democrats. It's almost like it's an extreme reaction to Communism, to go the complete opposite direction.
