iRacing Drivers World Championships - Road Atlanta
We arrived at Death Atlanta as ineX Racing after parting ways with Western Wolves earlier in the week - hence a new start. However in our return, we only managed 4 cars on the grid with Jason away consuming cheap scandinavian exports, Simon being typically cautious, Laurent feeling unconfident, Wolfgang is at Silverstone for the GT Academy finals and Rudy is inactive.
So it's Spa then, best track in the world - no arguments. We take no apology for any offence caused to any Monaco fanboys. Entering the 44 lap race for ineX Racing were the duo of Jason Lovett and Jake Stergios, both enjoying the circuit and both with their own aims heading into the latter part of the season - Jason for clinching a top 25 slot for automatic entry to next year and Jake for achieving a top 3 finish in the most competitive league in the world.
We came to the LFS GT2 World Series Finale at Kyoto with a points-gap so large that we only had to show up for the race and not get DQ to get the championship. But who are we kidding, second place is the first loser so we obviosly didn't come completly unprepared. The final round would be held on the long Kyoto Grand Touring Super GT X324 pi 3.14, a track consisting of long straights, unforgivable highspeed corners and hairpins, very demanding on driver and setup.
