Other items we invesigated will be announced during the evening Friday, along with results. Because the race ended under SC, please bear in mind that the penalties will be based on the time gaps at the last lap completed PRIOR to the SC.

1st Safety Car

Car 63 - Causing avoidable incident with Car 19, see penalty below in the Red flag section
Car 70 - WARNING, overtaking under Safety Car (would have been a DT if had finished)

2nd Safety Car

Car 69 - 1-lap deduction, ignoring yellow flags leading to crash with disabled car.
Car 73 - 5 place grid penalty at next attended round for avoidable contact under Safety Car with Car 72.
Car 72 - 10 place grid penalty at next attended round for causing an avoidable incident on the restart with Car 08 and others.

Abandoned Race Start / Red Flagged Start

Car 63 - 15-place grid penalty at next attended round, plus series probation for remainder of season for maxispeed for ignoring yellow flags, unsafe driving into an accident scene, causing an avoidable incident on lap 2 of the proper race

DT for car #10 - Causing an avoidable incident
SG for car #02 - Causing an avoidable by giving no room and turning left into car 10.

This decision was appealed by Car 02 (specifically their SG). Here is the result of that appeal.

Car 02 Stop-Go OVERTURNED, converted to a WARNING for contributing to an avoidable incident. We cannot properly make good the time penalty portion of it, however the SG will be stricken from any official record of penalties to the team.

Car 10 has been upgraded to a Stop-Go Penalty for the incident. The initial action of the dive into Turns 2-3 began the entire sequence. They have been penalized the difference in the tracker.



PLEASE NOTE: Penalties are applied to the positions as they were at the last completed lap before the SC. That explans the time gaps as they appear. Car 14's DT would not have cost them a place at the time, so it will not appear in tracker.
