I've been piddling with the idea of fooling with hosting these, as I currently have a vacant box thats sitting on a TIER 1 100mbit line. I was curious, if the price was right. If anyone would be interested in renting a server?

What would be fair prices, thinking $35-$40usd for a 23slot public server.

I have a test server up right now '[TC] Cops & Robbers', which most of the guys in TC are in the uk, i'm one of the few american members. They were ranting about the server being so good on TS earlier. The Datacenter i'm in has multigigabit links to the uk, and europe.

For a month? Two? A year? Forever?

I know that in Counter-Strike when we rented we paid like 30 usd / month.

But theres the prices going down now. More and more hosts but something like that. And if it's a team (around 5 players) it isn't much at all. For example, we are 11 in SDRA now and that wouldn't be much at all..

Edit: Oh, to awnser your other question. No, I wouldn't be interested but I'm sure there will be someone!

Checking out the competition, i'll do $28/mo. Thats, $13/14 pounds (Am I Correct in this?)
